Life Force 2002 CD

word. lifeforce are one of the best up and coming labels for underground metal music. they sure can pick their bands. between the buried and me, the year of our lord, caliban. all great new bands to look out for. 16 songs from 12 bands. if you're looking for some new, fresh metal bands to get into, buy this.

Remembering Never
She Looks So Good In Red CD

Remembering Never rock hard. They're very metallic sounding, except when they make attempts to go into emo breakdowns. Some of them are well done, others of them fall kind of short. But this CD is stil pretty rockin'. The best songs are "The Moment You Realized..." and "To The Girl I Loved For An Hour". Check them out, and than buy this CD. The outstanding points of this CD are hardcore enough to make up for the few lame parts.

Dillinger Escape Plan & Mike Patton
Irony Is A Dead Scene CD

Four songs of pure INSANITY! AHHHHH! Patton's vocals are very original, but they're also really strange. It takes awhile to get used to them, but the 3 original songs on this CD al rock hard. DEP and Patton clash well together, but every now and than Patton will go off and start singing, and it starts sounding more like Mr. Bungle instead of Dillinger. I hope the next DEP CD goes back more towards Calculating Infinity with their new singer. But this is an interesting project they did, and it's rad to see a band experimenting with different singers like that. Overall, I'd say it's worth the money. Except I think Aphex Twin sucks.

Burn It Down
Let The Dead Bury The Dead CD

burn it down are the fucking shit. they're crushing metal, hard as nails. this dude really shouldn't sing though, he should stick to screaming his throat out. "ten percent of the law" is a prime example of burn it down's heavy as hell music approach. buy this cd and rock out with your cock out.
