D.I.
What Good Is Grief To A God CD

The most metal influenced of the D.I. releases, but that's not a bad thing. A lot of great songs on here like "They Lie, You Die/Fatso Nero", "Shadow Of A Fool" and "Don't Do It".

While nothing D.I. has done compares to "Team Goon" or "State of Shock" this is a great record, way better than "Caseyology" which as a D.I. I would recommend avoiding.

Dicks
These People CD

Been waiting for this reissue since 1986. Alternative Tentacles reissued a Dicks compilation in the 90's titled "1980-1986", a few of these tracks are on here, but this was the first time the entire LP was released as a whole. The Cd also features the first two extremity rare Dicks singles. It sounds great. A proper reissue very well put together, this reissue is on par with a Captain Oi! records reissue, extremely well put together with photos etc.

I always liked the 1st Dicks lp more than this release, but this has grown on me over the years. It does feature a entirely different line up minus vocalist Gary Floyd. But still it is Classic Dicks. Buy it!!!!

A couple great new Oppressed Tracks, "Antifa Hooligans" is a cover track by Los Fastidios and two other new tracks. the cd features newer Oppressed tracks from various singles released since the 90's. Great bargain if you are new to the band and great introduction.

The Best Of Anagram CD

Very good round up on the SATD material. My only complaint is how could they omit "The Bitch"?????? Great starter cd for the new SATD fan.

United Colors Of Blaggers Ita CD

Not as good a release as the self titled "On yer Toez" or even as good as "Bad Karma", but an important and strong release from this band. Underated and excellent band. You need this.

Social Distortion
Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes CD

I've given up. Social Distortion used to be a punk band many many many years ago. For some reason I keep thinking to myself they will return to glory, but they never do.

Hummm... new material from Tony James of Generation X and Mick Jones of The Clash? Now how can you beat those bands on your resume? you can't, but this is way better than Big Audio Dynamite, The Clash (Sandinista era) and Sigue Sigue Sputnik. This is pretty good and worth a few listens. It's not really punk, but not really boring rock either. If you like Mick Jones or Tony James, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
