La Dispute
Somewhere At The Bottom Of The River Between Vega And Altair CD

A band which has a really unique sound that's near post-hardcore. I really enjoyed listening to this record, even if some songs are somehow kinda long! But still if you like bands like Hot Cross, Sound of Animal Fighting, Envy, By the End of Tonight or Tera Melos, you shoul enjoy this really amazing record!

I've watched it once, and I was a little bit deceived by the band covering. The director passes most of his time with british acts, such has Subhumans, that part was intersting, but I would've pass more times about the 90's revival, which AMerican Hardcore doesn't focuses on.

The documentary lacks on rhythm, but the DIY spirit that emerges from the movie is it's strong point. THe ideology behind the projet worths buying the movie. I did prefered American Hardcore, but still it's ideology was a little bit too much neglecting recent punk activy. So, when Punk's Not Dead arrived I thought it was the answer I looked for in the previous movie, well not.

Still a good movie for people who wants to know about the movement, the spirit and the bands. I still think that American Hardcore is a better movie

I've bought this record because I liked the front cover... Yeah, I never heard of this band before wasting time on interpunk, well it was an amazing dicovery. It mixes almost everything I like from ska, hardcore and experimental progressive music. It's like a melting pot of Mr.Bungle encounters Suicide Machines. A really good record.

Great record, but it is mostly for diehard fans of Mastodon. This record has most of the qualities of Leviathan and Blood Mountain, but the overall of this record is less amazing than the previous cited albums. The peaks of the record are certainly March of the Fire Ants and Crusher Destroyer.

Amazing comp, all the songs are amazing the shredding is really good and the progressions are overwhelming! The "By the End of TOnight" part is in my advice the best part of the comp, although I've bought the comp in first place for Tera Melos. A must-have for every post-hardcore fan

I really enjoyed this album just as a Mars Volta album would enjoy me. Obvisously it's a more prog-space album than the freaky weird experimentations of the Mars Volta. It sounds more like a Pink Floyd album than a Led Zeppelin record, it's more smooth.

At first I wasn't sure about this Rancid comp. I listened it a couple of times before loving it, juste like any Rancid cd ! I recommend this album to people who like every music approaches Rancid took since their first release.
