Methadones/Copyrights
Split CD

I know this is going to sound cliche, but there are no words to explain how great this album is. Buy it, listen to it over and over again. The Copyrights are great as always and this is hands down the best work that the Methadones have ever put out.

Hextalls
Call It A Comeback CD

And what a comeback it is. No Ronnie isn't back between the pipes, the BC pop-punkers are back with one of the best releases of '08. Welcome to the Record is probably the best intro song I have ever heard, not only is it a great introduction to Devin and crew, it sets the tone for things to come. Freddy v. Jason v. Ash is a great sing-a-long, even a staffer from the good Dr. Phil Show calls in. If you like comedic lyrics, 3-chord pop-punk and frick words, then it's time to punch the clock, it's time to frickin' rock, buy the Hextalls album today.

Steinways
Gorilla Marketing CD

Wow. Best release to date from one of the best pop-punk bands today. Grath's signature vocals maybe similar in style to that of KJ from Chixdiggit, but the sound is clearly Steinways. The group has passed around some of the lead singing duties, which all in all adds to the greatness of the album. Buy it, you will not regret it.

Lillingtons
Death By Television CD

Wikipedia cites this record as Fat Mike's favorite. Who could blame him. It took their offshoot Teenage Bottlerocket to introduce me to the Lillington's. This is there best record. Buy it before it's gone. I Need Some Brain Dammage - I worked at the Dairy Queen and I get up every day at 6:15.

Queers
Rocket To Russia (Reissue) CD

Who better to cover the "best" Ramones album than the Queers. The only thing better than hearing Joe sing Sheena is a Punk Rocker Live is to have it on CD. A must have CD for pop-punk or surf-punk fan.

Great new CD. Best of 2008 so far. Can't wait to see them in Toronto in April. Excellent follow-up to TOTAL.
