Upstairs/Downstairs LP

The Ergs! second and final album does not disappoint. Some may say it's not quite as good as dorkrockcorkrod, however I think it's just as good, if not better. The songs sound a bit more matured then the ones on drcr, yet still keeping all that minute long pop punk goodness that they are so known for. Unlike most pop punk bands, The Ergs! do not fall into the simple category of Ramonescore and never, ever get boring. The first four songs speed by you with orgasmic pleasure, the rest go down smooth and always keep things interesting. Jeff sings on Bike Shoppe and Girls of the Market Square, and the album drops off the speedy pop punk thing a couple of times to make room for a bit of country (Stinking of Whiskey Blues), a clean jazzy twee guitar (Books About Miles Davis), and finally Upstairs/Downstairs closes with the epic, self-titled 18-minute jam. All in all, this album serves up just as much awesomeness as any Ergs release and is very essential.

Leathermouth -XO CD

This actually scared me a bit! I'm not usually a fan of this sort of stuff, but I checked it out because yeah, I'm a big My Chemical Romance fan. I loved the demos, and was blown away by the record. It is possibly the most frightening, angry and abrasive album I've ever heard.. and I've heard some fucked up shit.

Dork Rock Cork Rod (Remastered) LP

Pretty much the one record for my teenage years.. the opus record of this incredible, incredible band. I saw them twice, both amazing shows. There is no band that means more to me then The Ergs. Always will this record hold a very special place in my heart... always. There other stuff is equally as amazing, too. Sorry I'm not providing any info regarding the sound of the record. It's just great pop-punk, unique in it's own way, you won't be disappointed. I shitted myself with excitement when I saw they had more in stock. And it's on yellow vinyl. Come on, what more could you possibly want?

Bikini Kill
Pussy Whipped CD

Just got this CD in the mail today, and it's already one of my favorites. The production has the perfect balance that's raw and aggressive but not horribly nonsensical like a lot of hardcore punk. It's got a lot of that feminism stuff in it, but even if you don't like that, you'll still like this CD. It's just amazing, Kathleen Hanna is one of the best punk singers I've ever heard. Just buy it already.

NOFX -Surfer 7

Surfer 7"

Truly awesome NOFX. This 7" has 14 minute-long songs that will totally rock your socks off. Most of them are silly, stupid kind of songs (that still rock anyway). This is an awesome EP, and at only 4.50, how can you say no?

Millions Of Dead Cops/More Dead Cops CD

This is a great hardcore CD for fans of bands like the Dead Kennedys. The songs are incredibly fast, political, and angry. The lyrics are brilliant, and overall, it's just a great CD. One thing I didn't like was how they combined the songs Dead Cops and America's So Straight. I just really don't like it when people combine songs like that. But overall, this is definitely a must-have. My favorite songs are: I Remember, Corporate Deathburger, John Wayne Was A Nazi, Dead Cops/America's So Straight.

Black Flag -Nervous Breakdown 7

Black Flag
Nervous Breakdown 7"

This is it. The best 7" EP ever created. I'm serious here. This EP is one of the best punk rock records ever. It's short, under 5 minutes, but believe me, it's worth every red penny. It's got Keith Morris, now of the Circle Jerks, and his voice is angry and full of pissed off energy. Sure, you can just get First Four Years. But if you're a fan of Black Flag or punk rock or just phenomenal music in general, then you should definitely get this 7". It's only 4.75, too. How does it get better then that?
