Fleas And Lice
Early Years CD

Material from the '90s. Not much I can say that hasn't already been said... Fleas And Lice (outta the Netherlands) kickout some seriously awesome jams. I'm still waitin' for a follow up to their 2005 album. Did they break up? Where'd they go? Somebody help me out here...

Damage Deposit -Straight To The Bottom 7

Straight To The Bottom 7"

Good 7" featuring Minneapolis rock veterans, with Felix on vocals. Slick, yet heavy production. Not as raw as Code13 or Destroy, but still solid.

Tear It Up
First Four Months CD

NJ hardcore. Quick, fast, and lyrics dealing with hating life, dealing with problems, and feeling like a failure. Short disc, if you exclude the demo tracks. Still a ragin' good time.

Spazm 151 -Power Songs For The Kids 7

Spazm 151
Power Songs For The Kids 7"

These guys play tight, fast and amped-up. They remind me of Civil Disobediance. Better sounding recording, though. Really awesome stuff here, straight outta Texas. Still sounds good after 10 years. Get it.

I can't say too much about this band that has not already been said... but oh well, here goes. Really tight album. Great band in general. Slick production, heavy as hell, fast and brutal, with great little single-string guitar leads. Lyrics deal with the typical stuff, but well thought-out. Really talented instrumental work, too. This band really knocks the crap out of you.

Input Equals Output CD

The Pist were a very good band. I'd suggest getting their "Ideas Are Bulletproof" album first, if you ain't heard them yet. This is a compilation of tunes from their EPs and splits with other bands. Al's vocals are like an American version of Steve Ignorant- but not as gruff. The music for the most part is upbeat. Some covers on here too. Check out their verison of Flipper's "Ha Ha Ha".

Ideas Are Bulletproof (Reissue) LP

Mid-90s punk from Connecticut. This stuff is catchy, and lyrics are well-thought. The vocals are done by Al, and they are very strong, loud and clear. Not really the heaviest band, but they're still very good. It's worth it. This was their only real album, but they made it count.

Path Of Destruction -1:00 AM 7

Path Of Destruction

Really good stuff outta Minneapolis.Think Assrash, but with more complex parts and better production. Rockin' stuff.

Misery/Path Of Destruction
Split CD

Misery: Loud, raw, angry low-fi stuff typical of these guys. Path Of Destruction: a little cleaner, still angry... think Assrash with better production(courtesy of Pignose on vocals). Eight tracks, all hard.

Mob 47 -Karnvapen Attack (Reissue) 7

Mob 47
Karnvapen Attack (Reissue) 7"

Early '80s punk from Sweden. Re-issued on Havoc. Most songs on this EP are quick and to the point. The mid-tempo ones are good too, though. Diskonto and a lot of other bands bit this whole style. Pretty good, though lyrics are not in English and it's short.
