Street Dogs
Fading American Dream CD/DVD

This is a cracker of a cd by the street dogs they have added a little more irishness/folkness i would call it and maybe not as punky as back to the world which i think is there best work. The cd starts with a couple of great tracks in common people & not without a purpose then calms down a bit but again picks up with power in the union & tobe. Its a kind of start-stop cd,just when the punkier tunes starts it slows down again. Don't let me put you of this cd because it is top quality and very good song writing by the guys. All i can say is buy this cd & back to the world if you have a few quid($)you won't be disapointed i Guarantee it. p.s get the cd with the dvd its a good wee film

Far From Finished/Left Alone
Split CD

Far From Finished are surely a sleeping giant. After buying there debut cd 'eastside of nowhere' which i think is the best dedut cd in the last 10 years. I think split cd's are usualy a stop gap and not usualy that great. How i was wrong f.f.f carry on where eastside left off the new version of the bastards way is qualilty but personaly i think fight back is the best song on offer here .The other 2 tracks F.F.F give you are tracks called untitled and a cover of radio, radio an old evlis costello track. All in all a great listen. However i thought Left Alone's tracks are not a patch on f.f.f's but still a good listen a bit to much ska sounding for my me and a poor cover of the smiths 'panic' Don't let me put you of buying this cd it's worth it just for the 4 f.f.f tracks. Now i can't wait on the follow up to eastside due out soon
