Queers
Live in West Hollywood CD

So far, this is as close as Ive gotten to being at a Queers show myself but I love it anyway. All the classics played fast and fun and Joe interacts with the crowd well. He even has a little something to say about punk rock politics in the liner notes. Overall, a great disc!! Hopefully it is just to hold us over until the next Queers full length which, might I say, Im eagerly anticipating. Long live the Queers!

Joe King Presents: More Bounce To The Ounce (Double) CD

A lot of the songs on this compilation arent too bad but I don't think it was meant to be a showcase of Joe King Queer's favorite songs at all. I believe it was supposed to be more of a way to get exposure to a lot of bands people didn't know existed. For example, Joe was going to start his own record label at one time and was going to have the Lillingtons aboard...but when the whole thing fell through he put them on this comp as a way to get them heard. I think it's a good gesture on Joe Queer's part and because of it, I got to hear Lisa Marr sing with Cub and get a feel of what she does outside of writing songs with Joe. I got to hear the Parasites for the first time and will probably buy a record of theirs now. I know other people reading this had similar stuff happen to them and if you did, More Bounce to the Ounce's mission has been accomplished.

Lillingtons
Backchannel Broadcast CD

I just got this album yesterday and it has been spinning in my cd player ever since. It's a damn good record and I do not feel it should be compared in every way to Death By Television. Yes, DBT is a great record, but I don't think that it makes this effort by the Lillingtons any less. Kody co-wrote the tunes and delivered a fine piece of work in my opinion. I can't wait til' the next one.

My mom taught me that if I can't say something nice, I shouldn't say anything at all. So having said that...goodbye!!

This album should come with a warning from the Surgeon General because it is most definitely habit forming. All you people out there who pick your nose, smoke or bite your nails finally have something new to occupy your time with. So if yer tired of your own bad breath, getting a fingernail caught in your teeth or finding a good place to put your booger...then buy this album and start toe-tapping your way to recovery.

Mr. T Experience
Love Is Dead CD

Love may be dead but Dr. Frank and MTX are alive and kicking with this album. With great punk classics like "Sackcloth and Ashes," "Dumb Little Band" and the immortal "Ba Ba Ba Ba Ba," you'll be spinning this disc round your cd player more times than you can count...and you'll be a better person for it. Songs about girls never sounded so good.

Screeching Weasel
My Brain Hurts CD

Quite simply...this album is awesome!! From start to finish there is nothing but catchy, poppy punk rock and I love every second of it. This classic record is a definite MUST HAVE for any Weasel fan and kids like me who like their music chock full of energy and fun. Tunes like "Guest List" and "Veronica Hates Me" will be stuck in your head for years to come. Wanna hear punk rock at its best? Buy this album today!!
