US Bombs
Back At The Laundromat CD

well ok...the bombs formed in like 90' or 91', so why do they wait 10 or so years to put out their best record! I'm telling you this record is a force to be reckoned with...like they're other records its fast to the point & infectious as hell but unlike their other records it just sounds like they put themselves more into it I DUNNO this is great and mr. peters & co. will never make a better record.......they can't it is perfect

Duane Peters is a genius...he has a hot wife & well that guy has like 20+ years of punk in him.

this is genius!

Channel 3
Fear Of Life (Reissue) CD

Channel 3 remind me of the Ramones (if they were a Reagan punk/hardcore band). I am into really old stuff and I try to buy the earliest stuff I can find by a band! Channel 3 is another band along with a million other American hardcore/punk bands that just rips through a record with a lot offer to the world........Records like this make me remember why punk rock spoke to me in the 1st place!

GET IT NOW PLEASE GET IT NOW

Vacancies
A Beat Missing Or A Silence Added CD

One of my favorite new bands.....this along with Time Again and the Briefs and a couple others is some of the only modern punk that is comparable to the likes of the old shit...

The Vacancies have a very punk sound and unlike most other modern contemporaries they stay true to that one sound that they have...

GREAT

Time Again
Stories Are True CD

From the getgo this record grabs you...Fast paced...everything from hardcore punk to ska to straight up speedy punk rock... They have an element of Rancid in them EVEN SO Tim himself guest stars on one of the tracks....This is going to be a record that they talk about in 10 years (in the vein of ...And Out Come The Wolves).....

Grab it before this band gets too huge for their own good

Rum Runner
In Guns At Cyrano's CD

Surprisingly good. A cut above the average run of the mill crap that sings about life in boston, drinking etc. THEY SOUND LIKE A GOOD VERSION OF dropkick murphys...

we usually refer to this as leprechaun punk rock (it sounds like its from boston) but this band just sings more lyrics about life and comes off a bit more punk than the murphys usual drinking boston redsox bullshit....

Which brings me to this point...I never understood why the Dropkick Murphys sound the way they do, when they come from the city that brought the punkrock world the FU's and DYS...two great bands that the murphys should have taken a few cues from and I think RumRunner got a bit from em' lyrically...Anyway RumRuner reminds me of a good version of early Dropkick Murphy's.

Go pick this up

Brain Failure
American Dreamer CD

Yeah, this is what it would sound like if Joe Strummer & Rancid were chinese!

Good band.....VERY FAMILIAR SOUND that never gets old... fast drumming and it's damn good...SOUNDS A BIT TOO MUCH LIKE joe strummer

somewhat heavier than both the clash & rancid

just plain good punk rock
