Common Rider
This Is Unity Music CD

I love this album! My buddy introduced me to this band and I've been hooked ever since! The way the band plays and the way Micheals sings - unbelievable. Favorite track has to be Blackbirds Vs. Crows. If you have their first album or are a huge Operation Ivy fan, get this. No regrets.

Front Porch Stories CD

I like this album. The re-releases that Jade Tree put out are also good, but I really like this album because of the twang-y folk-ish sounds that come out. SOlid hardcore a la Avail. Fuck yeah! Pick this up if you have thought about it, it will grow on you. ALso check out 4AM Friday.

Another Last Chance CD

District 7. Whoa, there's a name from the past! I couldn't find this album anywhere in Ottawa, so I had to order it. This album is way better then their first one, "To Be Continued..." (out of print - local release years ago). That says alot. If you like a punk rock album that keeps it moving in good speed (except the last acoustic track), then I'd recommend this one. Brilliant, I wish they would put out more new songs, though. If you get teh chance to see them (at this rate, unlikely...), go. Good tiems with good lads.

Mass Nerder CD

I really enjoyed this album. Fucking good - if you haven't heard much from these fellows before, I would check out this or Problematic. Those are both good ALL albums. I havent heard much with the second singer, but love what I've heard from Dave Smalley. From this, "Fair Weather Freind", "WOrlds on Heroin", "Silly Me", and "Silence" are my favorites.

Recomended for fans of Descendents(obviously...) and anyone who enjoys fun punk-ish music.

88 Fingers Louie
Behind Bars CD

This bad boy was fucking great. I really got into it. Not my first 88 Fingers Louie release, but it certainly took the cake. If you like simple punk, get this release for sure. Very angry/sad lyrics, reflecting ones self, which is good for those days you just want to punch a whole through the wall.

Allroy Sez... CD

I think that this is a pretty good release. Very pop-punk. Imagine Dave Smalley singing for Descendents release "ALL", and you would get this. This was my first ALL Cd and it took me a few listens to get into it, but now I really enjoy it. Catchy and Fun. If you like Descendents, I would get this.

Zero Down
With A Lifetime To Pay CD

This CD is an amazing album. Best tracks are "The way it is", "No Apologies", "It Ain't Over Yet", and "Suck Seed/Jeremy". The band, to me, sounds like a mix between old Strung Out, and Pulley. If you are fan of these bands, check out this album. Alot of the songs are about the late Jim Cherry growing older, while still doing what he loved to do.

Fans of southern California Skate Punk will not be dissapointed(speaking of skate punk, check out the new TFP album, "Subliminable Messages", amazing album from start to finish).
