Warmness On The Soul CD

Wow, its amazing to see how far A7X have come from this sampler EP to their current LP, City Of Evil. Starting it off is "warmness on the soul". This "single" version is not very different from the version available on Sounding The Seventh Trumpet but its all good. Overall, my stand out favorites are Darkness Surrounding and the heavy metal version of "To End The Rapture" which by the way is fucking cool live these days. So go ahead and order this while u can cuz its a cool thing to add to ur A7X collection, im pretty sure you will be the first of ur friends to own this.

Avenged Sevenfold
City Of Evil CD

Before my review..i just wanna say im sick of all these kids saying "a7x sucks now..theres no more screaming..they're sell outs" If u were a real fan of the music u would learn to accept and appreciate the change. Its not M. Shadows fall he blew out his voice..actually it is but the outcome was beyond his control....so..City of Evil is packed with insane drumming and technical guitars which are alot more difficult then waking the fallen. While this is not A7X's best album..they manage to make the clean vocals work with the music and deliver a very guns and roses like album..full with orchestra and epic interludes. There are some catchy songs on here, such as the current single "Bat Country" and "Burn It Down" which is my favorite. Now dont base your purchase off of one man's opinion..pick it up and listen to it a few times..while its not as good as waking the fallen/sounding the seventh trumpet..it will grow on you and you will appreciate it just as much.

Black Dahlia Murder
Unhallowed CD

When i took this cd out of the shrink wrapping and inserted it into my boombox...what i heard was an approaching evil voice and incoherent chanting...from there i heard the sweetest intro ive heard in a while...unhallowed leads rite into funeral thirst which is a sick song. this cd is fuckin brutal from front to back..the vocals are sick as fuck with the high pitch low pitch thing and i dont know if bdm are necessarily death metal but its pretty fuckin close..if u are a fan of metalcore or metal..pick this shit up now

New England Metal And Hardcore Festival DVD

"This next song is about...darkness, and fixating on it!FIXATION ON THE DARKNESSSS!"---Adam From Killswitch Engage

This dvd is a great way to experience the fest without having to be there. The 5.1 Dolby Surround pumped through my speakers and my friends had a mosh pit in my living room. The highlights of this dvd would have to be killswitch, bleeding through, nora, converge, atreyu and definitely lamb of god.The wall of death kicked ass and i will be takin part in one at ozzfest in 6 days baby.Buy this dvd and crank up the volume!

Poison the Well
Opposite Of December CD

I've heard many hardcore albums over the past 5 years and this album stands out of most of them.As soon as u hit play on ur stereo this cd is agressive off the bat and not only is it heavy, its emotional. The greatest tracks on this record are Nerdy,Mid Air Love Message,Slice Paper Wrists,Artists Rendering Of Me,aww fuck it the whole album kicks ass. This cd is definitely worth the money and i guarentee u it wont leave ur stereo/walkman for a long time. Its still in mine! The drums on this album are very intense and the double bass is kickin(no pun intended)The guitars could be alittle better, the only problem is too much open string palm muting, but thats from the view of an aspiring hardcore guitarist. So dont be a fool and go buy this fuckin album rite now and give ur ears a good beating.

Punk-O-Rama Vol. 1 DVD

Great DVD, I never got into the Refused until yesterday when i watched this. Great Death By Stereo video, maybe they will get more recognized now. I was vey interested in the History Of Epitaph and I think the documentary showed how possible it is to become a sucessful record label. This deserves 5 stars.
