Thursday/Envy
Split (180 Gram Vinyl With Bonus CD Of Album) LP

This is probably the best thing that Thursday has released since Full Collapse. Envy always kills it, so overall, I am extremely, and a somewhat surprisingly, impressed with this release. Temporary Residence clearly knows what they are doing.

Touche Amore -Touche Amore 7

Touche Amore
Touche Amore 7"

This 7" is alright. Not spectacular, but not bad either. It with out a doubt has some screamo influences but is hardly a contribution to the genre. I think it's rather over-produced for this vein of punk.

...Who Calls So Loud
Who Calls So Loud (Half Black And Green Vinyl) LP

Who calls so loud is where funeral diner left off, and frankly this release is so good that I am no longer upset that Funeral Diner is no more. Definitely pick this up if you are into 90's emo, as this is a progression from some of the genre's founders.

Octopus Project/Black Moth Super Rainbow
House Of Apples Split (Colored) LP

This isn't a split with x songs, m of which are by the octopus project and x-m songs from black moth super rainbow. It is AN ENTIRE ALBUM BY BOTH BANDS COLLABORATING. Brilliant! I love it, and the vinyl I got was clear with blue splatter. You should pick this up.

Alexisonfire/Moneen
Split (Picture Disc) LP

THIS LP IS AWESOME!!!

Alexisonfire blows me away every time. Which is why of course I picked this up. The moneen tracks certainly aren't bad, and their covers of Alexisonfire songs are great.

Also, the picture disk looks astounding! This is definately worth picking up if you're an alexisonfire fan.

Himsa -Himsa 7

Himsa
Himsa 7"

I love himsa.

Sadly, I did not love this. If you're expecting dark, unrelenting metal, than you're in for a surprise. This is actually political and not so musically astounding. It isn't the worst thing I've ever heard tho. . .

Locust -Flight Of The Wounded Locust (Limited Edition Jigsaw Style) 7

Locust
Flight Of The Wounded Locust (Limited Edition Jigsaw Style) 7"

This is another excelent release from the locust. If you're into electrically charged, grind influenced, noise, then pick this up; it's kind of along the lines of dillinger escape plan meets the blood brothers. Each track is energetic and full of savagely executed vocals plus the lyrics have so much artistic integrety. The locust have major guts, and it shows on this awesome release.

if this is your first locust purchase i'd suggest "plague soundscapes" first. The production on this one is pretty good, but not as good as that of PS. plus, it's relatively short. This only has 11 tracks, and they all average to about under a minute.

but then again...

i don't own anything half as cool as this. not only is this on colored vinyl, but it's on four sperate colored 7"s that connect as a puzzle. the locust are some badass, creative motherfuckers.

Due to how great the music is and how damn awesome the vinyl is, i have to STRONGLY recomend this 7". Buy it before its out of print.
