This Bike Is A Pipe Bomb
Dance Party With... CD

A damn good sing-a-long disc that makes you want to drink like crazy... which is always good in my book. This is a great refreshment from all the bullshit I keep hearing on the radio and seein on Fuse and at Warped Tour these days. It could be a little longer, but it's well worth the purchase.

Against Me!
We're Never Going Home DVD

I loved this DVD although I wish I would have bought it when I saw them because it was a buck or two cheaper, but I didn't realize how much sweet stuff was on here until I looked it up later. It's really awesome that it ends up drawing you in by telling the story of their struggle to decide whether or not to sell out and sign to a major label. This was done very well. I love the part where Warren says something to the effect of "You can buy me as many drinks as you want and I'll keep drinking as long as you're buying, but it won't change how I feel about signing to a major label." The integrity of this band, which shines through in the story of this DVD, made them go from a band I really like to one of my all time favorites. Plus they have the song "Joy" on here. The only down side was the fact that they only used one camera which means that to change camera angles during songs they just cut to shots from different shows during the same song, so the music isn't always synched up with what's on screen. It's kind of annoying, but oh well.

Streetlight Manifesto
Everything Goes Numb CD

Wow... wow. and one more time... WOW!! This is the most amazing album I've heard released in the punk and ska world since Rancid's "And Out Come the Wolves..." Or even since Operation Ivys "Energy". Each song is so lyricaly and musicaly rich with no detail overlooked. You can tell that Thomas Kalnoky put his heart and soul into each of these songs. It is impossible to stop listening to this CD. I bought it about a month ago and it still hasn't left my CD player! I don't care how punk you think you are, how much you hate ska, or whatever lame excuse you can make for not liking these guys... BUY THIS CD!!!

Catch 22
Alone In A Crowd CD

It's pretty good, but it's no Keasbey Nights. They did a decent job of trying to hold on to Thomas's lyrical stylings with this one... but it went all down hill after this with "Washed up..." and "Dinosaur Sounds". I've got to admit that "What Goes Around..." is absolutely amazing and almost on par with some of the songs from Keasbey Nights. I guess it's worth the purchase.
