Neil Perry
Lineage Situation CD

These guys rocked the scene when they are around. There are some fucking awesome tracks here, starting out with newer ones they recorded that are great. They are the master of the one-minute song, and making it actually mean something. Pick it up if you are into Joshua Fit For Battle, Textbook Traitors, Welcome The Plague Year, all those good guys. I strongly recommend this to anyone a fan of screamo-esque music (if you want to call it that). It says it comes with a bonus DVD, but it's more of a .avi file on a CD-ROM. It has all this fottage from their tours and some of their shows. It's decent quality too.

Casket Lottery
Smoke And Mirrors CD

Wow, this CD is a huge departure from their older releases. IT's much more angrier, faster, and harder. There's a bit of screaming in it too. Like Interpunk's review, it's a relection of their history and time as The Casket Lottery, and some of it isn't so pretty. It seems like this will be the last we'll hear from The Casket Lottery unfortunately. These guys were one of the best finds in the past 4 years for me. I love their old stuff to death. Expect more hooks and harder riffs here too. Get it if you like their older stuff, but if you're starting out get Moving Mountains.

I'll certainly miss 'em. Check out Old Canes too.

I got this album thanks to a friend's praise, but when I listened I didn't like what I heard. It seem slike everytime the vocals start out, it's either at talking/singling level, and then it gets to screaming by the end of the verse. This exists throughout most of the album. I found it annoying and haven't really listened to it since due to that. I hear their newer stuff is good, so perhaps you should check that out first. For me, I'm not much of a fan.

Fuck With Fire CD

I bought this album a long time ago, and I'm just getting around to reviewing it. What can I say about ths band? I personally find PMFS amazing in what they do. It's not really screamo, and it's not really hardcore, but whatever it is, it fucking rocks. Personal highlights are 'End Me in Richmond', 'Rhythm Dies', and 'Sicillian Smile'. If you like the whole screamo/post-hardcore thing, you'll probably like this. The recording quality isn't all that bad as people say. Hey, I can understand the lyrics. If you are used to scruffy voices/screaming, you'll have no problem.

Reggie and The Full Effect
Greatest Hits '84 - '87 CD

This Reggie album is certainly a fun CD. I say fun instead of great because, well, many of the tracks on this CD are very short ones that are humorous. Okay, so some people didn't like the jokes, but a few of them are funny like Get To The Choppa!, Happy Chickens, and Fiona Apple Kiss My Black Ass. Highlights of this CD are Girl, Why'd You Run Away?, Your Girlfriend Hates Me, Megan Is My Best Friend To The Max, and Everything's Okay.

Why didn't his album receive a 5? Mainly because it's more of a fun album than one devoted to music, and it does show a little. It is still good - and reccomended - nonetheless.
