Eighteen Visions
Best Of Eighteen Visions LP

Nobody does it as well as 18V. The term "metalcore" gets tossed around alot lately, but these guys define the sound. Re-recorded versions of earlier work, all of which are now out of print. Their heaviest stuff. Buy the vinyl.

Beyond Repair LP

These guys do not fuck around. The BEST breakdowns and sickest mosh parts in the business. This is their first full length and it is definately a classic. Don't be a chump, buy the 12". I was pleasantly surprised with colored vinyl, maybe you will be too. XGET SICKX MOTHERFUCKERS.

Oceanic LP

Damn, this is a hard to find LP. I finally got my hands on the second pressing (both records on clear vinyl) and I gotta tell you, it RULES. Not nearly as heavy as Celestial, but that's not a bad thing. It's so hard to categorize this band... heavy at times, mellow at times and often everything in between. Anyways, these guys are really talented and this record is AMAZING.

If you are even looking at this, you should know that these guys rule...everything they've ever put out is damn good. Heavy-ass hardcore in the style of Hatebreed...lots of breakdowns and mosh parts...lead singer went on to join Terror and everybody loves them so buy this.

What can I say...I didn't think I would like this band because I normally listen to HEAVY stuff, but ever since I bought this, I can't stop listening to them...and I mean like everything they've ever released. They can be really mellow and emo-ish(?) at times but then they just ERUPT and they have some of the catchiest melodies that stick in your head awhile (in this case that is a good thing). Really talented musicians, combines alot of different hardcore and post hardcore styles. I don't know, maybe you'll hate it...

Unearth -Endless 7

Endless 7"

Amazing...the definition of metalcore. Metalish kind of like Darkest Hour or All That Remains (dare I say At the Gates?) but combined with these HUGE hardcore breakdowns in the style of Throwdown. And yet somehow they seem to incorporate an almost Poison the Well-ish kind of style. You have to hear it to believe it. The 7" version only has 2 of the 4 songs that the CD has...title track Endless and the classic My Desire (different version than the one on Stings of Conscience). First press released on either red or clear and there were only 1000 pressed so they'll be gone quick. Great record.
