THis kinda wasn't as good as i expected. I like the Damaged album better, but this is still pretty essential for black flag fans.

I actually like this version of "TV Party" better than the one on Damaged, I don't know why but I just do. "I've Got To Run" is a pretty intense song which you won't find available anywhere else, sound like it would have fit just fine anywhere on Damaged. "My Rules" is also good but you can find a better version of that song sung by Dez on Everything Went Black.

This is a great Ep, not Black Flag at it's best, but still pretty good. The version of TV party is better than the one and Damaged, and the other two songs are good too. I would recommend this CD if you are a real fan of Black Flag, otherwise buy one of their full length CD's.

This is by far the best flag Ep, recorded during the transition to slower, heavier, and more arty rock. Had Chuck Dukowski stayed in the band to record My War, that album would have sounded more like this and not the half great, Quasi masterpiece that it is. The sound produced by every member is chaotic and dramatic, best heard on "I've got to run" which is definitly one of the best flag songs, infact if you buy this for anything it should fucking be that song.

Who doesn't like to Party! This cd is an anthem for my senior year... don't ask. The last song "got to run" is seriously one of the best Black Flag sounds out there, that is worth the cd itself. TV Party sounds better on Damaged though.

The one and only appearance by post-Robo drummer Emil (on "Tv Party" only) might hold some interest to the more dedicated fans. This was also the last appearance of the 5-piece Black Flag on vinyl (or CD) and the last new material to feature Dez Cadena and Chuck Dukowski and the first appearance of drummer Bill Stevenson (on the last 2 songs only). That being said, this is decent but nothing essential. The hardcore Black Flag fan will be interested for the only recorded version of "I've Got To Run" available, but I don't think this will convert the non-believer.
