This CD is awesome. I like Waking The Fallen and City of Evil better but this cd is truly amazing for a debut album. The songs are good and the screaming is more hardcore in this cd I think. It is definetly worth buying if you're an A7X fan and Warmness on the Soul is one of the best songs they have wriiten over thier 3 CD career.

This CD is good. Probably their best. They are most metal on this album, and that is what intially drawed me to them. If you're just getting into A7X, which CD you buy really depends on your taste. This CD is mostly metal, their second is more rockish, and I've heard their third is basically all clean vocals. So I reccommend this one, but the final decision is up to you.

ok, this was kindof disapointing cuz i got A7X-waking the fallen first and there was so much more thought that went into that album, in this album there was definitly something missing, mostly i think they hadnt caught their individual sound and were trying to be like so many other bands and they have potential and you really get to see it in waking the fallen. so if you really like A7X, get this for your collection, but if your trying em out, get waking the fallen first. the song warmness on the sould is pretty dissapointing on this album, i expected so much more.

This is a great cd. Not as good as Waking the Fallen but still very good. The overall sound of the cd isn't that great but its a must for any A7X fan.

I got this album after Waking the Fallen and I definitely think WTF is a better album as a whole but this has some strong points (Darkness Surrounding) but this album also has some definite weaknesses (Warmness on the Soul *cringe*).

I give this album 4 stars only because "Warmness on the Soul" makes my ears bleed.

If you are just getting in to A7X, Waking the Fallen is the album you're going to want to get. Get this one if you're already into them.

good first effort, i think waking the fallen is better though. dark lyrics and metal riffs like no other (save maybe killswitch engage or slayer). buy this and waking the fallen.

I got this album after I bought Waking the Fallen. This album is not nearly as good. There are some really good songs, but there are also a few terrible songs. Warmness on the Soul may be the worst song I have ever heard. Don't get me wrong, i love cheesy metal balads as much as the next guy, but this song goes way beyond cheesy. The first time I listened to the song I cringed. Just plain bad. Take that song out and I give the album 3 stars. With the song, the album drops down to 2 stars.
