This started off the entire AN/GUTG craze. It's my favorite of all their releases. It's longer than the other EP, "The Sun Isn't Getting Any Brighter", and the songs are just better than those on "Background Music." Buy it unless you don't like hardcore. But why would you be reading this review then?

This is one of the greatest cd's I own in my music collection. I've had this cd for a while and I love it to death. Buy this if you're angry, depressed, or just want something to mosh to. One of the best live bands too. Great cd by a great band!

This is a fucking great band. The lyrics are so much more than typical punk or hardcore lyrics. The screaming vocals are awesome, and the songs are super fast, which is always a plus. My only gripe is that the album only has 7 songs. Buy the album anyway.

Decent hardcore. I would recommend their other CD first. This one is not as hard or developed as their other CD. Fans of Ten Yard Fight will like this CD!

This is a great EP. The final song 'Farwell' was re-recorded for their full length "Background Music" on Equal Vision. Each song here is great. The first two songs are worth the price alone! Fast, raw, tight, passionate hardcore with great lyrics. Plus the booklet is really nice too. The production on this release is more gritty and raw then the full length LP. The vocals are harsh, the guitars are full and the rythm pounds. Good dynamics and lots of surprises rythmically. Hardcore punk at its best. Pick this up if you like quality hardcore without the 90's metal influence. One of the best hardcore bands of today!

This is such a great e.p. American Nightmare play youth crew hardcore style with harsh vocals and emotional lyrics. Nothing new but some how deeply refreshing. An amazing debut all around.

All of American Nightmare's cd's are great. Especially this on. I suggest buying them all if you have a slight liking for the band, or if you just want to go crazy.

Hard to the core. Not half as good as backdround music, but still rockin. Plus its not as long as Background music and the production isnt as good either, but still worth your time.
