Pods and Gods is even weird from nofx standards but it still is a great song, while the other one was on PUTV which is kind of a rip-off but the song is cool nonethless and the orange vinyl is spiffy

David Williams, Smithers, WV, USA.

This album is awsome. The song Pods and Gods was supposed to go on the Promo "bottles the the ground" and come out before Pump up the Valuum. I am glad it was on it's own 7" though. The B side "whats the matter with parents today?" is a good song. It is on Pump Up the Valuum. It is limited to 12,000. So buy it now if you want one.

At First, I Got it Because I Love NOFX, and I Wanted to Get it Before it Went Out of Print, But When i Started to Play it, the Songs Rule! The 1st Song: Pods and Gods is different, but then again so is NOFX, and What's The Matter With Parents These Days, is good too, and more like the NOFX we know, Hey It's Only $4.00, buy it!

Excellent 7" Well worth the money. I suggest picking this up. The orange vinyl makes it cool in my book, and Whats the matter with my parents these days is their greatest song in my opinion!

im glad they didnt put pods and gods on pump up the valuum, cuz it aint that great. the high point is the lyrics, which talk about their views on religion, but its weird sounding, like not nofx ish. whats the matter with parents today is cool though, its catchy. id buy this anyway though, its worth the few bucks

The title track "Pods and Gods" is really weird and doesn't sound all fitting to NOFX. The B-side track "What's the Matter with Parents today is average NOFX but it has pretty rad lyrics.

i like both songs on this album. true, it is the new nofx, but i like the old and the new. i have maximum rock n roll, but i also have pump up the valuum along with others, and i like all of their albums. i don't know why people think the new stuff is so horrible. pods and gods is a good song. it has good lyrics and a cool synthesizer in it but alot of people hate this song. the b side is what's the matter with parents today? good song as well. this is also on pump up the valuum so it kinda takes away from the 7" but it is on orange vinyl and that is very cool. Good collectors item

My friends, who had downloaded the song from Napster, kept telling me I was an idiot for buying Pods and Gods. I glad I didn't listen to them. Although it isnt' typical NOFX (there is a synthesizer in it) it's a really catchy song. "What's the Matter with Parents Today" is the B-side. That's a great song as well.
