See if you can find another band that wants you to read as much as this group does. I don't think it's possible. Not only do they write lengthy screeds about their Socialist agenda in place of lyrics to their songs, they also stress going to libraries and finding out about the world. Personally, I think that's kickass, as well as the fact that they're so critical of rock 'n roll despite being one of the better agents in the garage rock revival. I was a bit surprised to find how little they late their views slip into the lyrics. But it doesn't matter. Get this to prove to yourself that an organ can be used by godless Communists as well as the church.

With the demise of everyone's favorite subversives Refused, The (International) Noise Conspiracy was formed. Their first album, "The First Conspiracy", was flawless. It possessed a truly raw, organ-rock sound. As The (International) Noise Conspiracy continued, their sound became more and more polished. "Survival Sickness" is rather clean-sounding, but it still proves to be quite good. The liner notes are brilliant, and "The Subversive Sound", "Smash It Up", "(I've Got) Survival Sickness", and "The Reproduction of Death" stand out.
I'd recommend the purchase of "Survival Sickness" to anyone interested in radical politics, or fans of The (International) Noise Conspiracy that already have "The First Conspiracy".

My new favorite record. Impassioned, political and jilted songs from the best Swedish band around. If you like the Hives but want listen to something with better instrumentalists and a freaking ORGAN, check this stuff out. You will be changed.

At first I Refused to like this CD. Heh, Refused. Funny. Heh. No really, I like it. It is nothing like Refused. It is the rebirth of ROCK, baby, yeah. So far I liked all of their CD's, First Conspiracy being my favorite. It's worth a shot in the mouth. Nothing I would Refuse. Heh. Funny.

This is definitely my favorite INC album. They have a great sound that is a mix of garage punk and 60's pre-punk. Singer of Refused is in this band! Good mix of drums, guitar, and organ!

Two words, Pre-Punk, would pretty much sum up the style of music on this record. Ex-Refused frontman Dennis Lyxen leads this 5 piece back into the late sixties and early seventies with their Mc5, the Who and even some velvet underground influences. What could be better than a chick playin an organ while drums slam, guitars twang, and the screams of YEAH!are belted out by Dennis. Quit imagining it, and get it.

I enjoyed this album very much, because of its old kinda sound. Sounds almost like The MC5 and lil bit of velvet underground. I enjoyed all that old stuff at my young age (im 14) BUY IT IF YOU LIKE MC5!!!
