an ol'school friend turned me onto this band in the late 90's and they are really not to bad. it's pretty skanking/ska in your face. i like "new girl" or " the vans song" the best. it's a must own!

This album is a slower type of punk ska album. I mean compared to Operation Ivy or The Flatliners, Suicide Machines are much more slower than they are, but it is still a great album nonetheless, I would give it 5/5 if it was just as fast, but thats my opinion...however 4/5 is the grade I give this album because I like it, but not enough to beat Operation Ivy and Flatliners for the best Ska punk band.

Really there aint no bad track on here. Its like having this and Op Ivy, your life is set. no no no, its not. They managed to get my attention and I really like tryin to keep up with their singing because it is a bit rem-uh-nis-cent of op ivys style. Get this album as a good starting point fo suicide machines cuz thats what I did and now im thinkin off going into the land of "Battle Hymns."

I didn't know much about this band before I bought this CD. And the first time I listened to this album, I honestly felt a bit dissapointed. But the more I listened to it the better it got. A song like "HEY" is simply a brilliant song. I love that track!!! Anyway it is a great ska-punk album and if your into that, then this CD is a must! I give it a 4, because some of the songs just are to damn cute and poppy in my opinion, but overall a good CD

Wow, I had never heard these guys before I bought this CD and I'm glad I got this. The first half of the CD in particular was pretty impressive to me. The songs break in and out of punk and ska perfectly, and when they get all the horns going it's real nice. I definately suggest this CD to anybody who is a fan of ska music, or even bands like Op. Ivy and the like.
