Loneliness is Bliss

Rock City 1001

Released on November 30, 1999

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

The debut EP from the alter ego of MICHAEL "ARTHUR" HERRERA, TOM WISNIEWSKI and YURI RILEY of MXPX. Unlike the pop/punk of their day job, these tracks move in a darker, slower and much more moodier direction. Six tracks.

This album is really great, for anyone who is a fan of MxPx this cd is for you. This tends to differ alittle from MxPx but is just as great. If you like slow, thoughout lyrics definitly buy this cd, Mike and the crew put a lot of effort into this one.

I think this cd is pretty good, it's like not as good as their mxpx cds (in my opinion). I think it's cool how they have a side band and it's not even the same genre of music as their usual band. Another good thing about this cd is that in my opinion I think the they put more thought into writing the lyrics than some of their mxpx stuff. wrapping it up I say if you like mxpx get this cd, you won't be disapointed!

This cd was okay. I was expecting more MXPX type music. Some of the songs sounded exactly the same. It's okay, buy it if you want to.

This EP from MxPx's side project, Arthur, is a decent musical experiment. "Self Evaluation" and "All My Life" are sure to please any MxPx fan. But the slow, melancholy tracks that make up most of "Loneliness Is Bliss" are not for casual listeners. The EP is also far less tuneful than the usual MxPx release. So, if you're a big fan of Mike Herrera and Co., I advise you to pick this one up. But if you aren't very familiar with MxPx, try "Life In General" or "Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo."
