Catch 22

Washed Up!

Victory 110

Released on November 9, 1999

CATCH 22 returns with another swab of highly infectious ska, punk and hardcore bacteria that will certainly result in another heavy outbreak of baggy shorts. Four new songs that have been causing fits at their live shows, plus an additional three songs recorded live at the Metro in Chicago.

catch 22 is my favorite band, but i really didn't think this one was worth the money. there are only four tracks: the death of your blood is a complete joke, hard to impress is on another of their cds (and it's a better version at that), and american pie gets on my nerves like none other. leaving is a good song, but not worth buying the cd for. the three hidden live tracks at the end are definitely really nice, and they push this up from 2 to 3 stars, but it's a pain in the ass to skip forward to and i never find myself caring enough to listen to them. besides, all these tracks are on washed's worth getting that one instead. still, if you're just getting into catch 22, get keasbey nights.

I enjoyed old catch 22 when they had their other singer but this cd is a great introduction to their new singer. I love the cover of american pie and all the other songs are pretty good. i highly recommend anyone who likes ska, punk, hardcore, or metal to pick up this cd, it has something for everyone.

Catch 22 is a great ska band. The best song is hard to impress. Catch 22 did a great cover of "american pie". I also reccomend there first album, "keasby nights".

Its a good ep. The thing that pisses me off is the fourth track, even though its a joke, its kinda like buying the cd for only 3 songs. The live hidden section is good, but it takes a while to get to. Like 15 friggin minutes. The live tracks consist of 1.On & On & On 2.Kristina-hardcore version 3.9 millimeter-5 seconds at the end.

If you like this EP you might wanna look at another great EP from the Caddies called The Holidays Been Canceled. Then you'll be set.

I bought this expecting the original singer to be in the band so I was disapointed right from the begining. It's not that bad though. The new singer's alright and they're a little heavier. The live stuff alone is worth the price.

This is a really good CD, The first two tracks are classic Catch22, then there is the crazy cover of American pie, which is just simply the chorus being played over and over again, then there is a hardcore/death metal song that i guess is only on for a laugh. Finally we are treated to 3 hidden live songs (which you have skip through for about 15 minutes to get to) but it is worth the wait - even if the last song is cut short. I really like this band and I suppose are a bit of an influence on my band (check us out on interpunk- we are called Misled youth)
