Dillinger Four

This Shit Is Genius

No Idea 85

Released on May 7, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

A fourteen-song collection of out-of-print 7-inches and compilation tracks recorded between 1994 and 1997 by these hook-setting Minneapolis monsters of melodic mosh. Loved by skateboarders and anarchists alike for their butt-rocking style and humor-lined politics. LP back in print on blue vinyl!!

This is genius. A collection of 7"s and compilation tracks. There's also a Pogue's cover. There's going to be a new d4 album on fat this year. I'm sure it will be great.

This is good stuff. You like D4, you'll like this. It's mostly older stuff, but still great. Sally Maclennane is an awesome cover of a Pogues song. I guess I'm done.

This shit IS genius! Better than Versus God and Situationalist Comedy (which I didn't care that much for) but not as good as Midwestern Songs of the Americas. Can't wait for their live record. Unemployed is the best song.

yet another great album from the ever creative and thought provoking dillinger four. if you haven't heard them pick up any of their 3 full lengths or this, a collection of their 7" records. you won't be disappointed.

my first dillinger four album and it was a good one. i actually only bought it to hear their cover of Sally MacClennane. while the cover was ok, the rest of the disc was a good listen, not to mention the liner notes are pretty funny.

D4 are the undisbuted kings of punk rock in my opinion and this compilation is just further proof. Not as polished as their more recent stuff but no less rockin, they can be melodic and catchy while still singing songs with meaning. No emo-pop punk bullshit...5 stars, buy all D4 work!

I'm a huge ass D4 fan and When I bought this album I wasn't planning to get dissapointed. This album is all there old stuff from vinyl, comps and demos on one album. Holy Shit and Open and Shut were my favorite songs. The rest of the songs are mediocore and not bad at all. I think if you are getting into Dillinger Four go pick up a copy of Midwestern Songs Of The Americas first

What can I say, D4 comes through again. More funny intros and seriously kick ass melodies. It's a complilation of stuff from various albums they've been on. More intellegent lyrics and killer break-downs. Another great release from the greatest band ever. This shit IS genius! Highly recommended!!

Not really a 1, but I know I only read the bad reviews. Its actually awesome. Dillinger Four are great. The new stuff is better, but this has some great stuff, "Hes a shithead yeah yeah" is my top pick. Get the new stuff, AND this. GOD BLESS THE MIDWEST
