I have just about decided that this is my favorite Naked Raygun album. Plus some awesome live tracks and covers added on for this re-issue. I love their cover of "Suspect Device".

If you don't own anything by Naked Raygun then do yourself a favor and buy this CD right now. The minute that you put Jettison into your stereo and hear the first track "Soldier's Requiem," you'll be floored and forever in awe. The Lawrence Arms realized how awesome this song is; just listen to "Soldiers Requiem" and then listen to the Larry Arms song "Requiem Revisited" on Oh Calcutta to see what I mean.

But hey, every other track on here is just as perfect; each one filled with its own fury and energy to explode your eardrums. Jettison is a perfect blend of 80's punk and hardcore, the type of sound you can't recreate no matter how hard anyone may try. It's like putting Husker Du, The Misfits, and SLF into a blender but yet it still has a unique taste all on its own. No matter what I do, it's impossible for me to pick favorite songs from here since this album just unleashes one great song after another. There's also a great live cover of Stiff Little Finger's "Suspect Device" plus three other awesome Naked Raygun live tracks on here.

So to conclude; if you don't own Jettison, Throb Throb, All Rise, or Understand from Naked Raygun then what are you waiting for? Enjoy!

This CD kicks ass. "Soldier's Requiem" is, in my opinion, one of the hundred best songs ever written. The three live bonus tracks suck, but it's completely solid up until there, and there are quite a few awesome songs on the album.
