I knew this album was going to be good before I got it, but this really surprised me. This is even better than the Toaster's One More Bullet, which was a pretty solid album. I agree with some of the reviews below, it is a little slower, but I'd recommend it to anyone who has been satisfied with any of their other work.

This is a great CD! Sure, its not "punk" or whatever but its good music. I like everything pretty much and ska is one of my favorite types of music. Don't buy this CD expecting ska punk, its jsut straight up ska and a couple of garagey type punk songs. And its slow ska, too. And apparently they started up in my general area of living. The DC area has so many good bands. Keep an eye out for 33 West. If you like music, you will like this.

AWESOME CD! Its not the best, but its awesome slower stuff. Mostly Reggae, but its all good. I definately recomend this one, but get Willis first.

I saw the Pietasters with The Pilfers (who for some reason aren't here on Interpunk) in Dallas about five years ago. Since that time, this band has made some great progress. Awesome Mix Tape #6 is a great ska album for your collection. Yesterday' Over and Chain Reaction are the best songs on the album, but they're all good.

It's quite odd to see a true ska cd here on InterPUNK, but I like ska, so I am glad it is. Now, for all of you punk rockers who suddenly stumbled onto this band thinking it is in fact punk, you will be dissapointed. While the Pietasters do play some punk songs on this cd, with a very old school flare, it is moslty very mellow ska. The Pietasters are an extremely talented group of fellows. Pretty much every song is good except for the last one, which is some strange techno remix. The best songs are "Can't Stand It", "Yesterday's Over", "Wasted", "Crawl Back Home", "Chain Reaction", "What I Do", "Somebody", "Take Some Time", and "Menowannalikkiu". You might be saying, "He just named almost every song on the cd," and you are correct, but that is becuase they are all good. So With so many good features to this cd, what is bad about it? The Cover Art is the most RETARDED CRAP IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. You like ska? You like the Pietasters.
