Pop punk that's just as good as Green Day, but never gotten mainstream radio play as far as I know. Hopeless Romantic is one of my all time favorite albums. I was 9 years old when this came out. I had just started becoming obsessed with Pokemon and had no idea who Bouncing Souls were. This band should be so much bigger than they are. I would love to see one of their live shows if they came to Columbus. If you don't already own this, then don't wait. Get it now. Buy their other releases and merch. Support Bouncing Souls.

Bloody hell they say third time is the charm....This being the third time I've bought this cd!! The two other copies seemed to have walked away on there own!! This is perhaps the best album by the bouncing souls minus a few quirks. Whats a bouncing souls album without one or two shitty songs. Seriously, I understand the goofyness behind this band and just their straight up just want to have fun East Coast style... But, what the fuck is up with "You're so Rad?!?" I'm also not a fan of the title track, but, it's ok... Songs like kid will have you humming along and singing plus, it has a nice if a tad long bass solo. Another great song is the rather goofy but, fun break up make up break up song "Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell)" It's got guest vocals by Kara Wethington. Bullying the Jukebox is a great sing along song about drinking and taking over the jukebox cause your taste in music just sucks. Well, if you want some catchy bass lines and just some fun punk thats not crap and theres only a few that can pull that off this being one of those albums.

Well let's see, the Bouncing Souls are a really good band and I do enjoy their work but to me it just seems like every CD that they have put out has at least a slight few dud/average songs that keep all their records from being perfect. This album starts off very strong with Hopeless Romantic, 87, Kid, and Fight To Live. Those are all great Bouncing Souls songs. From there on you get some very good songs like Night On Earth, Ole, and Wish Me Well (You Can Go To Hell) and then you have songs like Bullying The Jukebox and Monday Morning Ant Brigade which have some juvenilely humorous lyrics. The 4 other songs that I didn't mention though fall under the average or dud category and that is what keeps me from considering this a 5 star CD. So yeah it is still defiantly worth purchasing this; the Bouncing Souls are a great band overall, I just wish they could put out a CD that I could consider perfect where there's not a single song you would want to skip.

This album is excellent. If you're just getting into the Bouncing Souls, this is a good start! All of their stuff is fuckin cool though. They represent everything that a lot of us are. ANYWAYS. don't listen to me, just let the music do the talking. night on earth is my personal favorite, but the whole album is too gooD!

The Souls rule. period. This album illustrates that. This is their best album and the best album to get to know their style on. Buy it first!

cmon godammit...fucking cmon. this is bullshit. the formula for success is to start off shitty and get better...not be the best from the beginning and put out this horseshit. ive come to expect excellence from the bouncing souls and this was clearly not what anyone should accept as classic souls music. kid...one good song...one fucking good song. you guys had better put some more effort in your next attempt at an album or just stay in new brunswick and shut the fuck up. bouncing souls-hopeless romantic=kickass.
