since this is a bunch of different seven inch records on one cd the recording quality ranges from ok to something that one of their a-hole friends recorded with a Fisher Price tape player. The singer does sound like a girl, but I don't really think that is such a bad thing( It's better than a girl who sounds like a man ). I think you would be better off buying one of the thirty Asian Man Lookout! re-issues instead.

I listened to this maybe two or three times. Tried to get into it, I really did. Maybe I was expecting more, since a lot of people said they were awesome. The vocals get on my nerves. Sounds like a chick, and that's annoying to me. Don't understand what the big attraction is to this band honestly. Seems like they tried too hard to present an image, and it hurts it musically. Although, if you like the Kung Fu Monkeys, get it, because you will get your money's worth because it is long and has many songs on it.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this item posted on Interpunk. I knew the Kung Fu Monkeys were this little awesome pop-punk band who put out a bajillion 7"s. So when I saw that they were available on CD, I jumped at the chance to get this. You won't be dissapointed.

Its so sweet to finally have K.F. Monkeys on disc. I have enjoyed them for so many years. The surfing pop they deliver is like as if it came straight from the 60's. Long live the Kung Fu Monkeys!!!
