Probably my all time favorite CD. Jason Gleason is my idle. I couldn't emphasize how much i would recommend buying this album. Grade A material all round. Favorite track on this album is Pride War.

FSF is such an amazing band. It's amazing to me that they have stuck around after two of their frontmen have left. 'How To Start A Fire' is definitely their best CD. 'On Legendary' is one of the greatest songs I've heard. Buy this CD. This one goes to 11.

This cd was alright, not as good as there last album though, song 3 was the best on the album and this cd comes no where close to any of NFG's material

I can't believe this is the same band that made "The Moon Is Down". While that album was a true gem among the garbage that makes up the modern emo genre, "how to start a fire" completely loses the spark (no pun intended). The blame can't be laid on the change in vocalists, either. It's as if the rest of the band just got really lazy in their songwriting, going from the layered complexity of TMID to this predictable bore-fest.

So unless you find the new singer, like, OMG totally hott, take a pass on this one.

it was a great surprise i tought it wouldn't be as good as there first cd but jason's vocals are way better than chris's theres a few songs this cd could of done without but other than that the price is right i suggest it for fan's into this type of indie emo rock

don't approach this cd expecting it to resemble their last album, "the moon is down". the songs are good, but only in smaller doses... the album kind of blends together. the lyrics are very intresting and catchy at times, but don't expect something like carraba did. overall this is a good album, but only if you approach it like a band you never heard of before.

This is a pretty damn good album. To me it sounds alot like Diary by SDRE, which is a good thing in my book. I thought it could use a little livening up though as too many of the songs sound similar.

It doesn't beat the moon is down for several reasons, but still it's a good cd with many good songs. Although somehow it feels incomplete. (maybe it's only because it has 10 tracks). but solid stuff anyway

Actually Dan. This album fuckin rawks. That is all I have to say. The lyrics are amazing. I listened to this cd over and over. Anyone who says Further Seems Forever sucks without chris is smoking crack.

Wow, I think it was just a bad idea to try FSF without Chris. It's just not the same...you expect alot more, and are left quite disappointed. But still a few good songs, so not a complete loss.
