I'm a big fan of pre-A-types Hopesfall. Melodic Hardcore. I love this album, the guitar work is amazing. Get this CD if you're into the original sound of Hopesfall.

this album was a lot more enjoyable than i expected it to be. it's just the standard sing/scream type stuff, nothing amazing, but thankfully it generally avoids the usual 'chugga chugga' metal riffs. a couple of songs remind me of Hum a little bit. it's not a bad album, but this type of music isn't really my thing. i'd rather listen to Black Flag or the Germs.

Awesome! This CD fucking rocks. I totally dig it, and I haven't even really gotten into it yet. They have a somewhat unique sound (from anything I've heard). If Poison the Well is "Noiscore Emo" than Hopesfall could be "Spacecore Emo". They have a really spacey sound that is really melodic but really gets going with heavey guitars and good screaming vocals. Also get No Wings to Speak of, because it is fuckin swell, too!!! Nyoi...
