a great album that makes a great point...at times the female voices can be hard to hear and that is annoying, i dont sgree with the person says that it is peaceful, although a few songs are the rest are more hardcore...a good album i recomend it

1905 is one of the best Anarcho bands i know of. they write thoghtful, and intellegent lyrics. AND theyre very musically polished. from Hardcore Crusty jams like "Cant Change Everyhting" to the Bob Dylan esque, 1960s style acoustic protest songs like "throw" and "quote" The male/female vocal harmony remind sme of 1980s era Chumbawamba and other Peace Punk like Crass. 1905 is recomended to anyone who likes Political Music and/or 1980 era Peace Punk, this is a MUST OWN album.

1905 have got to be the most underrated band around. I cannot believe more people don't know about them. They play 'Melodic Punk Metal', I guess you could call it. They have dual male/female vocals, and both can sing/scream like nobodys buisness. There music is some of the most original you'll ever hear. They mix Punk and Metal like you've never heard it before, all the while creating amazing melodys. Not to mention they write some of the best and most meaningful lyrics I've ever heard. I'd reccomend this band to anyone and everyone, go pick this up, you will not regret it.

This cd kicks ass. I mean with mail/femail volcals and rockin' guitar how can you go rong. the only problem i have with it is that the femail singing is quiet and gets overwelmed by the rest of the band at moments.

amazing melodic hardcore. Really unique too. Only complaint is the whole CD would be much more enjoyable if the female vocals were made louder, seeing as how they are often drowned out by the drums/guitars.

This cd has so much potential. All the elements of a great release are here, but I just can't get into it as much as say, Circle Takes the Square. The female vocals are usually so quiet and washed out that they drown; guitar and male vocals completely cover them up. She (the singer) needed to really project her voice more strongly. I really enjoy the male vocals, but they are few and far between. Musically, I was very impressed. The instrumentals are rich and interesting, but I thought that they stopped too early. Instead of slowly bringing in different instruments, they focused on one guitar or one piano... which isn't a problem... I just think they could have really made some great tracks. Thinking forward, I imagine that the next release could be great.

Brilliance. One of the better DIY bands out there. Great girl and guy vocals and the music is really technical and fun. The lyrics are moving. Buy this so you can claim the title of "first on your block" to know about this band. Amazing stuff. You won't be dissapointed.
