End This Day

Sleeping Beneath The Ashes Of Creation

Life Force 30

Released on August 20, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

End This Day formed in Wisconsin in November 1999 with the goal of showing audiences in the hardcore scene that metal has a place on the dance floor. Blending the melody of European metal with the energy of American hardcore in a unique way. End This Day forges a new path for metal in the hardcore world. They combine blistering speed picking, massive breakdowns, catchy sing-alongs, and other well-rounded elements into their music, but never lose sight of what they set out to do: Write exceptional songs.

This is a really solid metalcore CD from a band that I had never heard of. Don't be put off by the fact that there are only nine songs with one being an instrumental, because the rest of them are in the 4-5 minute neighborhood. While this is an excellent release within the genre, I would warn against getting too excited about this if you've been listening to metalcore for awhile. I was really into it a few years ago, pretty much played it out and got all the CDs I thought I needed, and I've been done with it for a little while. All that means is that I did not hear anything particularly groundbreaking on this disc. If this was August of 2002 or if I had never listened to metalcore before, I'd have been much more impressed. Nonetheless, it is a cool CD.

The best "metalcore" band of all time. Ever since this cd was put out every other band is jocking their style, but of course non of them come close. This album will remain one of my all time favorites, along with Coma Eternal - I am The End. PICK THIS CD UP.

This CD is utter bullshit... i waited a while to get it but it was worth it. for fans of Bleeding Through and Burnt By The Sun, this CD will blow you away. Hint: Listen to cursed be the blessed, the ending of it is the money.

straight up metalcore. really generic and nothing remotely new. however, they fucking do it right. brutal breakdowns and tough vocals. if you are into metalcore shit (i.e. norma jean, eighteen v, with all sincerity, etc.) i would suggest buying this. again, nothing new, but pretty fucking sick.

holy shit, that is the only reaction after listening to this cd, spine rattling breakdown after breakdown, the haunting yet moving voice is unbelievable, lengthy songs packed with more emotion than you can imagine.

Endthisday are the best lifeforce band ever, the best metalcore band ever, they f**king rule!

It is hard to compare this band in order to achieve a sense of how great they are. The music makes you want to break stuff and flail around like a posessed frrrreak.

Their sound is solidly rooted in the metalcore genre, with harsh clear vocals and a whole truck full of melody.

All in all, give it a couple of listens to get past this bands sheer intensity and they will soon become your favourite band to break stuff to.

PS: they split up, this sucks.
