Two of Rocket From The Crypt's most elusive vinyl-only releases together-For the first time--on one CD: 1995's Hot Charity LP (out of print) and the 1999 6-song 12" Cut Carefully and Play. Hot Charity made the top 10 of NME list in '95, and has been cited by Dave Navarro, Moby and Dave Mustaine as a major influence. The Cut Carefully and Play 12" is scathing, punk bliss full of modulated horns and an even more dense and frantic guitar attack. Hot Charity's embossed sleeve will be replicated on the CD cover, with the Cut and Play artwork delegated to the back.

this is a musical party, the combo of these to great records on one cd is an awesome idea. The song Lorne Doom is crazy. i love the whole beginning chant thing. The other awesome song is Pity yr paws, is fucking awesome too!

Rocket From The Crypt never cease to amaze me. This album, as you probably know, is a collection of an album and an EP released in very limited... releases back in the mid-90's. The Hot Charity tracks are just incredible, and live up to the hype surrounding them. And the Cut Carefully and Play Loud tracks are a return to RFTC's 50's juke-joint, sock-hop, R&B rock and roll style that is their signature. Buy this if you need an introduction to the... awesome that is Rocket From The Crypt, yo.

RFTC is easily the best rock'n'roll band around. If you consider 2002 the year "rock" made a comback to the airwaves, then just pretend this is a new release and forget that you're seven years behind the rest of us. Get a clue and get every Rocket release your grubby hands can hold.

This is a great record, definitly worth buying. But a word to the wise, if you own a turntable, why the fuck would you buy this on CD format? The LP packaging is unmatched. Ok, now you might be asking yourself, "Well I have the CD, what do I do now?" And I'd just be like, "Fool, w-iz-ord, if you don't know, you better ask somebody?"(buy one of each so you don't have to cut the LP.)

Rocket from the F'N Crypt. This is a must have for any Rocket fan. All of their albums are must haves. Pick this CD up, put it in your CD player, and turn the volume to max. As they say, "Crank It or Spank It!".
