A To B Life

Tooth & Nail 1240

Released on June 25, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Treading a cautious line between being straight-up punk, hardcore, and garage rock, this is intelligent and brooding post-rock that still retains a plentiful amount of attitude and vigor.

this cd plays like one long song, with a bunch of different movements. rock blended with a hardcore influence. the singer talk-shouts in a way that captured my attention from the very first listen. excellent album.

Awesome cd.. i loved "bullet to binary" and "gentlemen", but after i bought the cd I realized that the whole cd is great as well. The songs "(A)" and "(B)" are really good (they're really just instrumentals, but they're so good I listen to them on repeat alot). Other cool songs are "Silencer", "Be Still Child", and "the cure for pain".

Me Without You... I was shocked when I heard this CD. The depth and beauty of this band is amazing. They have great lyrics and the song "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt" and "Gentlemen" are my favorites... you should give these guys a chance

rock on

i had heard about this band for a long time, but never really listened to them. i first heard a sample of the vocals on my norma jean cd "bless the martyr and kiss the child", on the track "memphis will be laid to waste". so it prompted me to finally pick this up. mewithoutyou has one of the most unique sounds i've ever heard. the lyrics/words are a mixture of spoken word poetry that pulls at every emotion, and with the guitar work that backs them up... its an amazing blend. this cd is a great listen, beginning to end. get the norma jean cd too... its to sick for words.

i was introduced to this band by a friend of mine. the first song grabbed hold of me, the 6th kept me going just as well, and the last, coupled with one of the most impressive solo's i've ever heard in the indie/hardcore genre was just amazing. the entire cd comes together perfectly, from the rough and straight out vocals that sound like the voice of a man pleading with the listener rather than simply telling a story, to the perfect. and i do mean perfect, guitar work.

this alblum will not dissapoint.
