this is a good album, i think its taken heavier approach to other albums such as 'Band Geek Mafia' but i like it. Best song for me is deffinately the opening track - 'Voodoo Anthem' other great ones include 'Steady As She Goes' and 'Knee Jerk Swing' not their best album ever but still a 4 star effort

i went into this cd expecting a lot because of "band geek mafia" after a few listens i fell in love with it. great cd. VGS is a great ska band. check 'em out. i'd suggest getting "firme" or "band geek mafia" before this cd. only 4 stars because it's not their greatest, but still great.

This is my first VGS experience. My friend always told me how great they were so I finally tried them out and wasn't disappointed. They are awesome and while at times I can't understand what they say, I totally recommend this to any ska fan.

this is not like old vgs. alot of people said this album brought them back to their "firme" sound but I completely disagree. the first few songs are great, they maybe sound a little like firme, then some songs like "ethnic clensing day" sound alot like balle des los locus, but most of the cd sounds if anything like symbolic. I did notice on #10 the horns sound really mellow like less than jake or slower catch 22, which I really liked, but sound nothing like the usual, crazy vgs horns. if you like vgs you should probably get this, but if you're just getting into them buy firme or band geek mafia.

the voodoo glow skulls fuckin rock. i stand how incredable they are. i really can't think of anything else to say, i've been following their career since firme and they have yet to dissapoint me. buy this record, support one of the greatest bands of all time.
