Ten Years And Running

Tooth & Nail 1196

Released on May 21, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Now that we┬╣re up to speed, Ten Years And Running is an unusual compilation in that almost all of the tracks are remixed, and many of the well-known and beloved songs appear in versions previously unreleased. Far from being a standard greatest hits album, this is a joyous collection of great moments both revisited and reinvented for the true fans (and a real good way to inform new ones of what came before). Included are new songs "My Mistake" and "Running Away," early 7-inch rarity "The Broken Bones," and the whole smorgasbord kicks off with a rerecorded version of their signature song "Punk Rawk Show."

This is a great CD for new fans. It has many good songs I remenber on Let It Happen the first MXPX I bought. The song Dolores is an excellent re-recording. Also there is a timeline that tells about main experiences the band has had over the years. Great CD for those just getting into the band.

Holton Grossl here I thought this cd KICKED SOME ASS!!! I was pleased when i heard it because it had all their best songs. Even though mxpx is not liked by me as much as At the drive-in or NOFX i thought this cd gave me more reasons to like them. I think it deserves 5 stars, but because of the pictures in the book of their UGLY ASS!!!!!! drummer i had to minus a star and only give it a 4.

I'm not a huge fan of MXPX, but I figured that they must have put out 19 good songs along the way. They didn't completely prove me wrong. This cd has a couple of good songs, a couple of decent songs, and a couple of bad songs. The best include Doing Time, The Broken Bones, Dolores, and Rock & Roll Girl. The previously unreleased songs (tracks 1-3) on this record aren't very good, but I guess the new version of Punk Rawk Show is OK.

This is a perfect collection of most of Mxpx's best songs! Even though I have most of the cds, it's nice to hear them remixed. The two new songs are great, as well as a redone version of their classic, punk rawk show! A must for any fan of them, and a good starter for the new fans.
