Geza X

You Goddam Kids!

Bacchus Archives 1171

Released on April 23, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Bacchus Archives continues its relentless reissue of early LA punk-rock and here is another prime piece! Out of print since its first and only pressing in 1981, this classic post Masque-era 'punk' album is the unique work of former DEADBEATS, MOMMYMEN member and producer GEZA X with contributing musicians BRENDAN MULLEN, PAUL ROESSLER, D.J. BONEBRAKE, JOSIE COTTON, DON BOLLES and others! Utilizing the unique "Gezatone" guitar with a screechy vocal style and warped sense of humor, this album delivers early '80s classics such as "We Need More Power" and "Isotope Soap" as heard on the Let Them Eat Jellybeans and Rodney On The Roq compilations. GEZA X has been voted a top producer by Billboard. Here is abbreviated list of some GEZA productions: 1000 MONA LISAS New Disease, SONIC YOUTH Made In the USA, DEAD KENNEDYS Holidays In Cambodia, Too Drunk To Fuck and others V/A Live From the Masque, REDD KROSS Teen Babes From Monsanto, BUTT TRUMPET Primitive Enema, DEAD KENNEDYS Plastic Surgery Disasters, BLACK FLAG Damaged/Six Pack, JOSIE COTTON Johnny Are You Queer And tracks by THE AVENGERS, THE BAGS, THE GERMS, PRIMUS, SCORPIONS, GENE LOVES JEZEBEL, and many more!

this record is ... very strange . he music is so weird and unlike anything i've ever heard before i can't describe what it sounds like you have to buy it and here it for yourself . geza X is just as strange as his music . he legally had his name changed to Geza X he made up his own style of music (don't expect this to be a punk album ) and he tried to start some weird cult kind of thing . Anyway there are some really cool songs but you have to be open minded because there is nothing anything like this album and there probably never will be .
