This album have not the same lead guitarist that is on Where you want to be ... and I think that Nolan is better in Straylight Run then in this band. And if you're more an Emo guy go buy Where You Want To Be before this one.

What can be said about this cd that hasn't already been said. It's definatly their best work. After the departure of a few of the band members their sound changed a bit. The original hype is real, no matter what music you enjoy, if you're reading this review, buy this cd. And if anyone loves John's voice (the backup singer) check out straylight run, different but just as talented of a group.

Today, it's almost as trendy to hate emo than to like emo. The bottom line is this: If you appreciate melodic pop melodies with a very positive, happy feel, mixed with the occassional scream, you will like this CD. The entire album is solid. Again, I would like to emphasize the catchyness of the album. Great to drive around to on a sunny Sunday morning.

Great emo CD! Some of these TBS songs even got up to three voices with their own lines at the same time and it sounds so great! Most of the songs kinda sound alike, but why change a great formula?! Buy this album and if you like/love this band/cd you should definately buy "Stories & Alibies" from Matchbook Romance too!

Well, I bought this CD a little over a year ago and loved it so much...but then i lost it. I love it so much i decided to buy another and now I'm writing a review for it. First of all, this is the BEST cd money can buy, from any punk or emo band. It is true that they resemble Thursday in sound but they are better, their songs have more variation to them. "Cute Without the 'E'" is the most incredible song I've ever heard, and "You know how i do" is not far behind it. Taking Back Sunday is without a doubt the best new band out there. All you people who gave this a 3 or lower you suck...this is without a doubt the best cd on Interpunk.com. I'm just hoping Taking Back Sunday will come somewhere around Grand Rapids because i've heard they kick ass live.

In short: This CD is not perfect, but its the closest thing to it I've ever seen.

This is a great album. From start to finish its quality, a few songs like Cute Without the E hint at just how good this band could become in the future. I'd downloaded all the songs bar 1, and i still brought it. Bit disappointed that it doesnt appear to have the enhancements promised on the sticker, but the music is great.

taking back sunday? they can have it. sundays suck anyway. unless you like going to church but noone likes church. NYs finest? hardly. mediocrity's finest is more like it. sounds like they should be on drive thru records, not victory. man.. i think ILL start a band and get on victory. theyre letting anyone in these days. youre better off burning the cd off your friend that wishes he didnt buy it. or you could be MY friend and burn mine. before i do.

This is an incredible album, i can't believe how good it is. When michelle sings in bike scene its like an angel's voice.. no joke.. but i definately like John and Shauns New band Straylight Run, better. But overall a really good cd, my band Jersey Bound covers the song "cute without the E" but the cd is overall great.
