Hot Rod Circuit

Sorry About Tomorrow

Vagrant 364

Released on March 12, 2002

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Combining melody with surprising technical accuracy, "Sorry About Tomorrow" sees a coming of age from Hot Rod Circuit. From the opening track, one can see that the band has not only matured in their song writing, but been afforded a recording budget to match their powerful sound.

I had to buy this cd along with the new one because I went searching through my collection to find it so I could listen to it but it either got lost or stolen. Anyways, this cd is a classic Vagrant release. Meldoic rock with hints of emo. If one were to get into Hot Rod Circuit this is the cd I'd start with.

This is probably a bad time to review this CD. I just bought it and I haven't listened to it enough. I know it's not a 5, though. I give it a 4 because it's good emopop rock. I want to give it a 3 because the most of the album isn't as good as Cool For One Night and Radiation Suit. But I know that after I listen to it some more, I will enjoy it more. For fans of Vagrant Records type music. Not 100% yet, but pretty sure it was worth the cash,

another excellent indie/pop classic from those bad boys at vagrant.this has shit to do with punk, but dont let that put you off as this is absolute quality, this is the album the last get up kids one should have been, cant fault it these songs will be stuck in your head for weeks, i bought this nearly a year ago and it still gets rotation on my stereo, more than i can say for 'on the wire' thats for sure. buy this bad boy now you fools!!

Awesome. That's what i have to say about this CD, it's not as good as the previous album, but it is almost as good, If there was a 4 and a half i would give it that, because there are like 1 or 2 songs that are alright, but other than that, they all kick ass.

Yet another stellar release from these guys. If you still haven't cuaght wind of HRC, you've been missing out. Although it lacks some intensity at points, I still really dig the newer sounds. BUY THIS.

altogther, this is a pretty good album. i really like the super-poppy tracks like "the pharmacist" and "radiation suit." i think these guys aren't as interesting when they're playing slower stuff instead of rocking out, and they take the slow route many times on this album. they seem to have lost their punch from the days of their first album and even their second one. but they're still a solid band, so if you're an hrc fan, you might as well get this. if you're looking to buy your first hrc album, get "if i knew now what i knew then"

I had heard of Hot Rod Circuit, but had never actually listened to any of their music when I bought this album. I wrote a song called Sorry About Tomorrow a while back and when I saw that that's what they titled their cd, I had to get it. When the cd first arrived I was excited to listen to, and the first track did not dissapoint. However, after that I wasn't highly impressed with the rest of the album. Sure they're a good band and have a tight sound and all, but other than the pharmacist nothing really blew me away and had me searching for the repeat button. Nonetheless, Sorry About Tomorrow is still better than anything you hear on the radio or mtv, or even mtv2 nowadays, so I gave it an average 3.
