I listened to this cd for hours on end when I bought it. It is definitely one of my favorite albums, I wasn't disappointed at all. The lyrics were witty and just well written. I think it compares well with if it weren't for the venetian blinds...Songs 3 and 5 were my favorite. Definitely a must have, great stuff.

Best word to describe this record: intelligent. Which doesn't mean you have to be a smart ass to understand this record. This is not intricate music. It's too elegant to even dare to be complicate. It's has so much class that even if you cannot appreciate the quality of the lyrics, the production, the melody, the rhythm and the performance, you can still like it. At first you won't know why you like it so much. But don't lose hope my friend, after several listenings its intelligence shall rub off on you and sooner of later you'll begin to understand some curious things, like RUFIO is poor music and STRIKE ANYWHERE is grandiose. That BRANDTSON is deep and TAKING BACK SUNDAY is tricky... Well, just try it.

This is a pretty good cd. Its strange becasue the first half of the cd is great but the second half is not any good. It seems to me like they had a few good songs and needed some fillers to make a full cd. I enjoy the first half enough to recomend this cd but dont expect anything fantastic. "King of the Road" has very interesting lyrics and is my favorite song.

I can't exactly put a clear definition of what I think about this CD. I've heard so many good things about Piebald in the past, so I figured I'd try out their latest release. Interesting stuff. While it's clearly not a masterpiece, the album contains no filler; every song is great in its own way. So far I have enjoyed listening to this album and I cannot see that changing anytime in the near future. Thanks for hanging out.

This is a good album. A bit of a departure from their earlier stuff, but still good. Just good straight up pop rock. -Sahan

This is an amazing album. I think Piebald is definitely one of the most unique bands in the scene right now because they always do their own thing and really don't sound like anyone else in terms of lyrics or vocal and musical style. This album has songs that make all sorts of everyday things exciting--sleeping in, work, vacations, stalking...always catchy and always clever, these boys will not let you down.

It is of the humble opinion of myself and my friends that Piebald is the not only the quintessential geek rock band, but possibly the best band ever. Buy this now!

wow.....Piebald is such a great creative band that writes good lyrics, while having some fun with them. Piebald to me (well on this record at least) is a mix between Weezer, Get Up Kids, and Jimmy Eat World. Travis Shettel cant really sing but sounds good trying. Every member is good at what they do and the additional synthesizers, 1st graders, and trumpets are a good addition to a very musical cd.

A departure from "Venetian Blind..." Pibald takes their sound into a more pop sound but nonetheless retain the brilliance, the bizzare geek humor, and the emotion that made them such a great band to begin with. Although more radio friendly (for lack of a better phrase), Piebald's new album ranks up there with the best of them.
