this cd is fucking great, all the songs are worth listening to over again, but it takes about a few listens to fully apreciate the whole cd,but just like that person said if you are looking for something that sounds like Further Seems Forever then you might not want to because Jason's vocals dont sound the same at all,but still get it because it is a great cd,and if someone could help me with something, why do the vocals change after halfway through the cd,right when it gets to struggle for perfection?thank you, bye!!!

wow i must say im blown away. i first learned about jason gleason in further seems forever a few years back. there was just something about his voice that just blew me away. when he left fsf last year, i was absolutely devistated. he was my favorite fsf singer out of the 3 (sorry chris carrabba fans) so i began searching the net to see if he was doing anything new, and while i was on interpunk searching for cds to buy, i discovered this cd. i knew jason was into hardcore, but i had no clue that he was actually in a heavier band prior to being in fsf. so i immediately bought this cd and this is my review.
**my warning to fsf fans, this sounds nothing like fsf and jason's voice is un-recognizable so you might wanna take a chance on this cd only if your open to hardcore and screamo**
ok now to the actually review. first let me say, if your picky on production this cd might turn you off a bit. its not the best production, but then again you must realize these guys were up and comming and it was recorded back in 2000 probably on a tight budget. it is better than demo quality though. the song structures are acheived very well, although the guitars sound rough in some parts, but of course that goes back to the whole production thing. as far as a screamer, jason does very well in that.. it would have been better if the vocals were recorded better production wise. this cd i believe is very good. however i would have liked to have heard it recorded by a professional such as a james paul wisner or a brian mcternan.. then it would have come out 10 times better. however dont let the production turn you completely off, this cd is a good choice for hardcore and screamo fans.. or if your like me and like both hardcore, screamo and your a die hard fsf fan (jason gleason era). so pick this cd up.

I'm sure this album is good for what it is...though production could have been a little better. Don't buy it just because Jason sings on it though. In fact, I don't think he ever sings.

In my modest opinion, they are a Poison the Well wannabes but with some lack of musicianship, they've got some good moments, but not many. I guess they are not my kinda sound, I don't know, I wish I loved them (12 bucks!!) but I don“t. Thanks God I have FATA and PTW to put away this bittersweet taste.

if i only had an ocean...to fill this review with the accurate description, jason has an amazing scream, the bass player follows a lot of the riffs that the guitars do, and thats no easy task. support this band and buy the cd!

This CD rocks. one of the coolest melodic hardcore bands out there. they remind a lot of poison the well so if you like PTW i reccomend getting this cuz i'd say you'd enjoy this too. best songs are The Most Delicate Confession, Memoir, Struggle for Perfection, 90 Day Guilt Theory, David, Unlike the Moon, and Pariah. get this cd now. i also reccomend the new zao cd "all else failed", poison the well's "opposite of december", further seems forever "how to start a fire". any emo or hardcore like this are always good. later
