Duane Peters is a skateboarder with serious cred. He's generally acknowledged as the guy who consumated the union of punk rock and skateboarding, taking it from a la-la cruise by nerdy longhairs whose music of choice was the Eagles into the full-blown tough guy hardcore punk scene it is today. But skating is just part of the fun for Duane, his other avocation is punk rock; and he's pretty good at that too. Duane is the leader of the infamous U.S. Bombs, and since 2000 he has started fronting The Hunns. The Hunns sound is raw, chainsaw, based on a classic formula : two Les Pauls, drums and bass. Duane, of course, sounds like Duane, but that's the main similarity with the U.S. Bombs: the Hunns delivery is much more street American rock'n'roll. The Hunns are OC's best of the best combined into one epic punk band. They have already toured extensively in both the U.S. and Europe, and released two albums in less than two years. This cd rocks, every song is good. perfect to listen when you skate, its cool to because Duane Peters skates himself, he rides for black label you can see him in the blackout video, but anyway this cd is hella good and if you like social distortion than you will like Duane Peters and the Hunns

This is the best Hunns release yet! Skate Away is my personal favorite song as it pays a bit of homage to my Texas Poolsharks website..."We're Poolsharks, Squares are in the parks" Duanes the shit! The real deal! Buy this!

awesome old skool street punk. 77 style guitar riffs will destroy your ears. sounds a lot like the bombs, but the guitars are more simple, which is better. def get this, duane is your god!!!

hell yes, if you love the us bombs, the hunns, or you fuckin hate them buy this anyway. there is not even a need to read the review. "surf sacrifice" sounds like pirate punk or some shit to me, it is fuckin great. this disc would be great to skate to if i knew how to skate. the hunns rule. every song is great and the last song is the real shit, anyway- buy it fools-
ps. oh yeah you reviewers are funny, you obviously buy the cd or they wouldn't let you review, but then you start talking about how gay the band you are reviewing is, then why did you buy the cd, haha, kids- buy it-later
