Atreyu

Fractures In The Facade Of Your Porcelain Beauty

Tribunal 23

Released on December 4, 2001

$9.50
Buy

This Orange County, CA hardcore band has a more aggressive sound than the typical melodic hardcore sound. Heavy breakdowns with a touch of Deftones-style finesse, a siege of 80's thrash, and emotionally charged passages make a perfect amalgamation of sound.

I like the version of Tulips, Living Each Day, and Someone's Standing On My Chest a lot better on this album than suicide notes. Also, it has the song "Taking Back Every Word That I Said" on it, and that's got to be one of my favorite Atreyu songs...too bad they didn't do any of these songs at their show on halloween. =(

only recommended for diefuckinghard atreyu fans. three of the five songs are on 'suicide notes' although they are demos and much different on this album. this album is great, but like i said, you really have to love atreyu to appreciate this one. the version of 'living each day like you're already dead' is tight as hell

This EP owns, seriously. It's a definite must have for any Atreyu fan.

You should buy this cd just for "A Letter To Someone Like You," however this whole EP kicks ass. As others have said, it is mainly just tracks from SN&BK but they are older and more raw and just kick a hell of alot of ass.

Buy it. You won't regret it.

This CD is definently worth the money. The three songs that are also on SN&BK are different versions on this album. The other two songs are great too. A Letter To Someone Like You is probably Atreyu's best song. Alex's voice on this CD is also way deeper and it sounds really cool. Every Atreyu fan should buy this CD.

Amazing release by such a great band. I love the two tracks that aren't on Suicide Notes And Butterfly Kisses. A Letter To Someone Like You is a terrific song. It goes from growling metalcore to a beautiful melodic chorus. Alex's voice is great and Brandons voice is great also. If your a fan of A7X, Atreyu, Bleeding Through, Himsa, Break The Silence, or Dead To Fall. Then buy this CD rght now.

Silence your life before I silence you, pressure hate within yourself, deep suicide, deep cuts, your only answer to survive. Stop your hate, I will not pressure you, I'll leave you alone through Suicide. If I could stop you I would. It's far too late. I'm faced down to your tomb stone. Make your life endless, kill everything we once had, Why did you begin to hate me, I loved you with all my heart, take back those days we had it rough, take back those days we fell apart, take back the day you broke my heart, smile with your pitiful lies, Fuck off, Forever my love goodbye.- UNDER ROSES

this is a great ep, if you liked their cd go ahead and check this out, has two songs not on the full length, and three that are...the only flaw i see is that it's a little pricy for only getting two new songs

What can I say, this is by far one of the best hardcore bands around today!!

Although this cd is not quite as polished as suicide notes and butterfly kisses it still has a great deal to offer. For example great guitar melodies and thundering drum beats.

I cant wait to see these guys!!

Atreyu... just plain awesome. This EP is defintely worth the $9.25 price tag. However... this only gives you a taste of what the band is capable of. Their full length "Suicide Notes And Butterfly Kisses" is insane. I would suggest picking them both up, but listen to this before you dive into "Suicide Notes..." because after that, you'll never listen to this album the same again. staywell...

Atreyu is just fucking awesome! If you haven't heard of them yet you should have! Buying this cd is a great investment because it's so good. The blend of hardcore vocals with melodic guitars gives you goosebumps! Buy this now! 5 stars!
