i went on the reviews on interpunk and frankly i was dissapointed, its been classed as Emo but Id just lump it in the Rock catergory. I wasnt to keen on Ryan Shelketss vocals but mayb u will?

Good, not great. Not bad, but not something I've listened to repeatedly. There's about 100 other bands i could recomend instead. Give it a try though, you might enjoy it.

This really is a beautiful catchy pop punk album. Very straight ahead in song structure but the simple things in life are most often the best. Great production, plenty of hooks and emotive lyrics make this a car stereo favorite. Everybody is looking for the perfect pop song and there are many contenders on this album. Non one for "scenesters" looking for cred points, just a non pretentious pop punk album for people love the MUSIC.

This album is solid. The members that make up Liars Academy came from bands I already enjoy/enjoyed. But this blows away those previous bands The music and lyrics are incredibly catchy indie-rock, with some screams thrown in, but that doesn't hurt the songs; it makes them better. I'm anxious to here the new single and the follow up cd in '03. This album should satisfy anyone's need for rock.

This CD is great. I had no idea what to expect. I basically just ordered it because it was an Equal Vision release, but it was nothing like "Saves the Day" or the "Stryder". More like straight ahead punk rock/pop. Awesome CD!

This cd is too sweet. That guy that was talking about how some hardcore guys went mushy or whatever needs to get his butthole sucked so he'll stop whining. This cd takes the current shitty state of punk rock, slows it down a bit, and adds some tight-ass melody for an action packed 13-songs that sound like they actually had some thought put into them unlike EVERY TRACK ON THE RUFUCKO AND NEWFUCKGLORY ALBUMS. horse shit.

I got this and was totally disappointed. It sounds like some guys in a hardcore band knew friends in hardcore bands, and started a pop band and got a bigger label to put it out because of their x-member of status. While it is not horrible... what they do is not different nor even par at what they are trying to repeat.
