Carry On

A Life Less Plagued

Bridge Nine 19

Released on October 9, 2001

$11.75
Buy

Carry On is a straight up hardcore band who has been tearing up the west coast with their combination of fast hardcore and frequent mosh parts layered under positive lyrics. Playing out as often as they can with bands like American Nightmare, Reach the Sky and Bane, Carry On's east coast hardcore influenced sound has been giving west coast kids something hard to dance to. Fans of A.N. and Right Brigade take note, Carry On has developed their sound on this amazing new effort.

Not much to say that hasn't already been said. A hardcore classic and one of the few bands I've ever really liked on Bridge Nine. Pick it up if you are into fast hardcore with some slight mosh.

Awesome "Youth Crew" style hardcore that will definitely appeal to fans of Ensign, American Nightmare, Over My Dead Body etc.

The only thing that might put people off about this cd is that at 13 or so tracks it only clocks in at just over 18 minutes.

But I like short cd's so thats all good.

Amazing. the hardest hitting, angriest hardcore band I had heard in a while. It's too bad a certain someone in this band couldn't keep his commitment to the edge, and it's even worse that he didn't tell his mates in the band about it and kept playing shows. that's why this band broke up so messily. looking beyond that, enjoy this record. it is amazing. everything I look for in a hardcore band. I can't believe I didn't post my review over a year ago when I bought it.

carry on is [was] amazing. too bad they broke up. great breakdowns, good vocals, and the drummer is awesome. i have to disagree with the person who claims that bane is crappy. you are mistaken, bane is amazing.

This CD kicks ass! From the first track, the songs are fast, punchy, and in your face! Very fast hardcore punk.
