what the fuck?!? This isnt less than jake!?!? you kids are morons. but dont get me wrong, i love less than jake and are definately one of my favorite bands. enough about LTJ...and more about gunmoll. they kick ass. the gruff singing and the kickin' guitar riffs really pleased me. and there is one song (i cant remember which) where the bass line just makes me want to run and punch some kids in the face. actually, it makes me want to punch the kids who gave this cd a poor rating because "this isnt less than jake." less than jake rules and so does gunmoll. like them both, or dont like either. you little kids can excercise your right to blow me.

Gunmoll kicks ass. Musically, and personally. They aren't full of themselves, and are down to earth guys. When they tour hook them up with a place to stay, and check out their website. Anyways, this cd has awesome guitar and the best voice- like everyone says, a jawbreakerish tone. It's easily a full five stars, and the next cd they're putting together has one of their better songs i thought should have been on this, so check out the next cd comin up. Solid cd, gunmoll is a solid choice for any true music fan, not some LTJ ska prick

The closest a band will get to catching the heart and passion of JAWBREAKER without being a clone or rip off band. GUNMOLL definatley have thier own sound, but capture elements of classic mid ninties bands. Combining melody,anger,emotion...this is one to definatley check out,if the band is new to you get the spilt with FIFTH HOUR HERO as that is another amazing ~NO IDEA band....this label continuously puts out classic for the bottom reviews, maybe you should stick to buying chart "pop punk" thats nice and radio friendly, who feature models in thier videos dancing around in simple plan shirts...just a suggestion

After reading the two reviews at the bottom, I've felt the necessity, almost the obligation, to write a couple of lines about this record. Not only Mike Hale's voice is the best thing on this record, but this record is probably my favorite one of last year. If you like the melancholy, the melodic rawness and rage of SQUIRREL BAIT you'll love this one, for sure. By other hand if you suck for ska, well... I'm sorry for you guys, but this is everything you want but ska. Yes, a good definition for GUNMOLL woukd be anti-ska.

First of all, anyone that buys this cd expecting to hear "less than jake" is just stupid!!! They have a unique singing style that I happen to like a lot so don't pay any attention to the bad reviews the two dorks posted that thought they were less than jake. These guys have ZERO ska in them. If you like Lawrence Arms, give these guys a try. They rock!!

If you want to hear some LTJ, DO NOT buy this album! I expected some members LTJ such as Roger, but all that is on here is a horn player in one song. The music sucks. Maybe I was expecting to much, but the singer sucks and so do the instruments. This is the first cd I have ever thrown away. Since I am saving you from buying this cd, go buy a Against All Authority cd instead. Snoogans.

Ok, I bought this cuz I though it was a Less Than Jake cd, but under a different name or something, but it only has the trumpet guy from LTJ on here. The singer on here sucks. He sings like its heavy metal or something, when it is like Blink 182 guitar riffs. I am giving this two stars only because they had pretty cool music, but the singing sucked.
