in my opinion the weakest of the three hellfest dvds currently on offer...still a great taster of the hellfest experience for me, someone not able to go due to distance...one day....

This is a fantactic find if u like the bands on this dvd. Highlights for me: Walls of Jericho, Shai Hulud, Poison The Well, Converge, and Reach The Sky. Brother's Keeper is the most stupid hardcore band ever, skip their songs and interviews. They can eat my shit.

yeah i thought id write a review of this dvd to let people out of the US know whether this dvd will work on their dvdplayers as it seems there is much confussion about the region code. indeed this dvd is region1, thats for american use only, i tried to play it on my region2 dvd player and it displayed in black and white, however it works in full glory on a multi region dvd player, no mater what tv you have... ... but strangly i thought it was better in black and white... on with the review, yeah this dvd documents hellfest 2k, its pretty cool, good footage, sound etc however there is an extreme lack of variety, it only covers a handfull of bands and plays 2 or 3 songs by each, there was 50 or so bands at hellfest, i would have liked to seen songs by throwdown, dillinger and good clean fun instead. but what footage there is, is very good and the bands perform amazing especially bane... the interviews on this dvd are pretty cool, but again a lack of variety, not much back stage footage which i was expecting to see. overall a good dvd...

Great hardcore show. "Can We Start Again" by Bane is nuts because the whole fucking crowd is on stage just singin along. All other bands rock as well.

fucking shit. this dvd fucking rules. all these bands kick ass. they are all going crazy fucking the place up. some of the bests performances on the album are the hope conspiracy- escapist, these guys fucking rock, going crazy the whole entire time. bane- can we start again, the whole audience runs up on stage and just goes crazy. converge- the saddest day, audience participation at its best. the dvd comes with some audio commentary that ihavent gotten around to listening to yet, and it has some more songs from bane, converge, shai hulud and some others. fucking fantastic
