Victory 1252

Released on May 8, 2001

This item is not available for purchase. Sorry!

Over the last three years, Integrity has become one of the most influential and recognizable bands in the underground music scene. As it is true with all of their other releases, this marks a new progression in their lyrical evolution and songwriting. This album is by far Integrity's darkest vision of the world to date.

Okay, I hear a lot of folks in the hardcore scene talk about this band, so I had to give them a shot. To tell the truth, I was expecting something along the lines of The Cro-mags or Agnostic Front. Instead, this record reminds me more of The Misfits or Samhain with more of a post-hardcore sound. There's a few really good songs on here (including a tolerable cover The Misfits' "Hybrid Moments"), but there's some really lame and pointless tracks of noise on here as well. All in all, it's not a good record to start out with if you're like me and just getting into Integrity.
