The latest from Swedish punk rock exploders and Fat Mike's favorite new band, RANDY. Seventeen powerhouse tracks of melodic and ripping action that blends the punk of bands like Bad Religion and Propagandhi with the over-the-top rock of Queen and Ted Nugent. Recorded with PELLE GUNNERFELDT (HIVES, INTERNATIONAL NOISE CONSPIRACY) at the studio the band helped him build.

1st album from these Swedish fishes and they are fuckin great. picks up even faster towards the middle of the album. No filler in here for sure and pretty much everyone should check this band out since the music is that good. well mainly just the punks who enjoy listening to rancid, STF, Nofx(even these dudes enjoy listening to them, well they're on there label now)

This is a really good album; it's just full of fun catchy songs. Randy is definitely a great import. It's a shame this band doesn't tour the USA all that often. My one complaint though is that the album slacks a bit in the middle, maybe they could have cut three sluggish tracks and then it would have been perfect... or maybe my problem is just that the first half of the album is just so powerful; all those songs are standout tracks. So buy this and enjoy some Randy!

This is a Fucking good cd. I had only heard 2 songs from these guys but i had liked em, so i decided to see if thier other stuff is good. And boy is it. People say that they are like bad religion and stuff mixed, but i dont think they are at all. I think its more like sweedish punk mixed with little richard. funny combination, but its kick ass. Definately worth buying.

How has no one on here made the comparison to the Buzzcocks? Come on people, your losing you punk points here. The opening track "Addicts of Communication" is so VERY similar to Orgasm Addict. I hear allot of Angelic Upstarts too. If the Kids are United type stuff. If these guys threw a couple of "OI OI OI's" in there I would swear this was recorded about 20 years ago. I like it allot. It has allot of the sound that is so big in Sweden right now. That rock based Punk. Punk and Roll if you need to tag it; The Hives, Div. of Laura Lee, International Noise Con., and so on. Mix all that with a little of the good Ol' US street sound like US Bombs and maybe even GC5. You take all that shit and you come up with a pretty solid release.

Fabulous political punk with a pop flavor. Sing-alongs mixed with street punk anthems, with solid production to boot. "If We Unite" has an infectious groove that is reminiscent of '80's power pop, as does "Karl Marx and History", but there is enough "pure" punk here for most anyone. Lyrically, Randy is very political without being preachy or over the top--the message is clear, but it is not a pseudo-religious clarion call to the Left. All in all, a very satisfying work.

I'd never heard of Randy before I got a new Fat Club record. It took me a few days to get into their unique sound but I had to get more. I got some mp3s but they didn't quench my thirst. I got the cd and this is some if the best stuff I've ever heard. From the old stuff I've heard, it's quite different. This record blends so many styles of political punk together. I can't put my fingr on it when people ask me what they sound like. Think of the Clash meets Bombshell Rocks and then gets into a fight with Millencolin. I am now addicted and am not ashamed of it. When I'm not poor, I hope to get more Randy because I can't get enough. This album is amazing and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates political anarchist punk at its finest.

Come on! I can't be the only one who bought this. If I am, I should feel lucky. This is a great CD! I had a feeling it was going to be good (that's why I bought it), but I didn't think it was going to that damn good. This band sounds like their playing in the early 80's along with bands like The Clash. They have an old school sound with a dash of modern punk which makes for a very unique experience. I highly recommend this CD to all punkers alike. Please don't make my review the only one on Interpunk. -TONY-
