This cd may be the teeny bopper parent approved version of Weezer but whenever I hear good music, I just have to go and get it. Now, this is a good release because it isn't too new where it sucks too bad but its not as good as the old stuff. Island in the sun is a top song. Don't let go and Photograph are 2 of my other favorites as well. I recommend it but buy the blue album first would be my best advice.

Oi, worst Weezer album yet. Unimaginitive and totally radio friendly. You can probably tell Matt Sharp probably did a lot for Weezer...since he left, the music left with him. Weezer is trying to hard to please the little teenybopper kids.

Not the best weezer cd. Would only buy for hash. The first one was a lot better. So dont' make a mistake. Buy the first cd before anything else to get a real taste of weezer

If you don't have this album yet, shame on you. This record sounds really good. Don't listen to that other dude who reviewed this and said it wasn't good. He's not a true weezer fan. All the songs are really good...in typical Weezer fashion. Hash Pipe and Season In The Sun the stand out songs. They're all good. I highly recommend it.

Ehh? Is this Weezer? I was confused at first because it really doesn't sound anything like their old stuff but hell, that was Weezer SIX years ago. Things change... so does music. I like it more and more each time I listen to it.

This album was not as good as the former two, but it still deserves a 4 out of 5. This album is pop, yes, but weezer is pop geek rock. The album has quite a few well-written songs and though it is not as emotionally auto-biographical as Pinkerton, or as perfectly original as The Blue album, it is weezer. And if you are a fan, it is understood what type of music they put out, and it is by no means superficial or effortless. This is definitely worth buying.

im sorry to say but this new album just doesnt compare to the older ones at all. you know how in the first one there was a lot of changes from soft guitars to heavy, and back again? there is none of that in this. it is like (i'm sorry to say it) generic pop alternative whatever style it is. the lyrics are good, and hash pipe is probably the best song, and the guitar sound gets boring, and it really seems like they spent no time being creative with their songs, musically. i am very sorry to say it but this album doesn't deserve to say weezer on the cover.
